I am ranking in order the right arm pace bowlers who swung the ball most in the history of the game.Ranked in order of the extent they swung a cricket ball.

1.Imran Khan
2.Waqar Younus
3.Alec Bedser
4.Malcolm Marshall
5.Dennis Lillee
6.Andy Roberts
7.Sarafraz Nawaz
8.Ian Botham
9.Kapil Dev
10.Mohammad Asif
11.Terry Alderman
12 Bob Massie

Some were express quick, some genuine fast, some fast medium but all champion sin moving a ball in the air or off the wicket .I can hardly visualise a right arm pacing creating as prodigious swing in any conditions as Imran or Waqar,as lethal on a green top as Alec Bedser,as deceptive as Marshall,as crafty as Lillee and Roberts or as intelligent as Sarafraz,Kapil and Botham.Alderman and Massie were lethal in overcast English conditions.

Imran,Waqar,Roberts,Lillee,Marshal and Amir were genuinely quick with Waqar being express pace.Botham,Srafraz ,Bedser and Kapil,Alderman and Massie were fast -medium.

Imran's bowling v India at home in 1983 dismissing the likes of Gavaskar and Vishwanath made me award him the accolade. In his own right Sarafraz was a pioneer of reverse swing.

i dont think anyone had more in-swing than Imran and Asif (that i have seen)

for outswing, its generally not as extravagent as the in-swing but max i saw were Anderson and Styn

Overall, for both in and out , i would go for Anderson (cloudy conditions), Wasim, McGrath

People like Waqar, Holding, Marshal, well all WIz were more about pace with WInz with pace, bounce and "in ur face attitude" ...

Please tell me you just happened to forget about James Anderson while making this list

is this consistent swing...or in a game...cuz immediately Anwar Ali u-19 world cup final vs india comes to mind...

If conditions are favourable BK, PK, Kapil, Anderson swing the ball a lot. In terms of reverse swing Pakistani bowlers IK, shoaib, Waqar get a lot of movement..

Difficult list - I probably agree with the first one, Imran used to swing it really big to wards right handers, next spots are debatable.

I'll promote Alderman much higher for sure and I am surprised not to see one name here, even in 12 men list - that's why I always feel RJ Hadlee is the most under rated cricketer in PakPassion. If Bedsar is there then it's a must that FS Truman should be ahead of him.

WIN fast men were not most famous for movement, but Marshall indeed was one of the best artist of the ball, that's why even at 30+ with reduced pace, he was almost unplayable with new ball. Different era, but I do think John Snow was a prodigious mover of the ball, so was RR Lindwall, but it's impossible to rank so many pacers. Also, OP didn't mention current pacers - Jimmy & Styen.

Overall, I'll take Imran, Marshall, Hadlee, Lillee & Alderman for my top 5. Waquar was my boyhood hero, but he wasn't a conventional swinger/mover of the ball and he had very little off the wicket (seem movement) - he was extremely rhythmic bowler and on his day with old ball he could beat batsmen in air.

David Terbrugge? I still remember his devastating swinging spell against us in Sri Lanka.

Simon Doull wasn't bad.

Botham in his pomp. Huge banana swing both ways.

Waqar Younis' banana swing used to be one of the best sights in that time.
