64 players is full four international squad.. knowing that most of them will make it to their first choice XI it is more like five or six international team. How do you expect to see any competitive cricket with that many missing from the scene? You cannot work against the market dynamics.. mighty countries have tried and failed.. Also once IPL expands, which it will inevitable do in next few years, number of players participating will also increase drawing even more quality players from home boards in that IPL window. So honestly resistance in this case is futile.. But my original point still holds, some countries like Pak, BD, SL, Ireland, Scotland, Zimbabwe who are not well represented (sometimes none) should get together and play.. If other boards don't want to go against BCCI, there is nothing stopping PCB from doing it.. they are already in the bad books of BCCI. what more can BCCI do?
Some of you guys are just awesome with your statements. Here we have a country, stuck with no international cricket, we all want cricket back one way or not and you some of guys managed to somehow find it ok to call teams like Zim "Garbage" or Nepal - who just got ODI status -"hope it's not a joke" or BD "we don't need them". If anything, those teams are doing pakistan and pcb a favor and a service when they come to visit, regardless of the quality of cricket they bring.
If anything, team ZIM deserves a lot of respect. They sent a pretty much full strength team to revive cricket in pakistan. They definitely don't deserve the term GARBAGE beside their name. Also, if Nepal was to tour Pakistan, they would send in their full strength team, unlike WI, who btw will be more competitive than the C string team Pak played couple of days ago.
Speaking of BD, for the posters who actually followed what was happening between PCB/BCB/HighCourt/Payment/ETC. To all of us outsiders, we can clearly see that PCB came out on top of that fiasco and got compensated. Regardless of who started it, to burn a bridge when you know you are in no position to be throwing a fist around for the glory of power, was definitely not the smartest thing to do. All in all, BD was probably the team PCB could have made them tour for a full series/half series without throwing extra money at their face but PCB did a fine job off burning that bridge.
To answer to OP
My money is probably on Zim again. It is highly unlikely SA will tour but everything and everyone has a price. If anything, you'll end up with a C string team again, just like WI.
Atleast have the guts to quote me. Zimbabwe are garbage, I am not sure why you're disagreeing with that. The fact they had the bravery to tour us should be applauded but it doesn't change the fact they're a poor side. They are also a side that has already been invited before and inviting them again won't really convince any top teams to come and nor is it worth it shutting down cities or worth the expense by inviting them.
Once you let the mist of rage lift from your eyes you'll agree that inviting a white, western nation is the next step. It'll go a long way. Or by having BD over, but we know they're BCCI's lapdogs so they won't come either. It doesn't matter much how poor a team is as long as it helps with our image. Inviting a Western team or SA would go a long way. SA, who's half the squad, has already played in Pakistan for multiple games since September.
Check the SA squad in the recent India t20s, the players in the World XI were way better and would probably tour again. SA are the best choice

The amount of disrespect you are spewing through your post is out of this world. Calling a team Garbage vs Poor is two different thing. One is definitely much more disrespectful. And speaking about guts, I don't need to quote you to get my point acrossed. Rage? more like get a grip. You know I spoke the truth. PCB should not be burning bridges at a time like this. If anyone is raging, its you, not me. Am not a Pakistani, nor does it matter to me what your board does or what happens to your cricket. I do however feel bad for you guys in a sense that every other nation gets to enjoy cricket while you guys are stuck trying to convice people that your county is safe to tour, It sucks. But if you actually look at it from an outsiders point of view, the reality is inviting people with police and militants securing your bus/stadium/hotel while you lockdown a city to play a cricket match does not convice us of anything. All it does is confirm that threats are very real if such actions are not taken. And just cause it didn't happen today, doesn't mean an attempt won't happen ever. Even if your security team stops the 'Attempt', it alone will send back Pak cricket back to where it was. Reality is reality, take it as you please.
The best hope for pakistan is to create a good relationship between PCB and SLCB/ACB/BCB/WCB. These 4 countries are your ticket to bring back cricket to pak. I mentioned previously that an SA team is highly unlikely to visit, but money talks so if pcb throws enough money, you peeps might have a shot at getting a b string team to tour. Eng/Aus/Nz is not happening anytime soon.
No chance with India, England, Australia and South Africa.
Why South Africa? If Faf came they all can.
No chance with India, England, Australia and South Africa.
If one player did, then we can't assume others will. From what I hear not too many of the South Africans fancy a tour of Pakistan.
Faf, Morkel, Amla, Miller, Tahir....
I don’t get why they wouldn’t fancy a tour?
No chance with India, England, Australia and South Africa.
