Pakistan .

India are due a collapse & they are facing the only team which can & will make this happen .

India favourites but backing Pakistan obviously to do something special.
 
India.

All the batsmen are in form, and the bowlers bowled decently today as well on a flat pitch. Besides that, India doesn't face the mental block in ICC tourneys against Pak. Pak have done terribly in that aspect over the last three decades.

True but Pakistan and India have never played a final. By this stage in a tournament, the confidence of the Pakistan would be very high. The only final was T20 2007 World Cup which Pakistan threw away. :misbah
 
If India bats first its 55-45 in India's favor, if India bats second Pakistan has no chance.
 
India looks very strong, but so did SA and England. Pakistan winning would be amazing and makeup for the recent bashing that they have received by India. What a sweet revenge it will be if they manage to win the final after losing the group game so badly.
 
I know what the heart is telling me, but the deplorably cold light of reason is keeping those palpitations in check. It would be foolish to suggest India aren't favourites.
 
i voted india because their batting is very good and in flat track can be invinsible and pak batting is simply not good but hasan ali is in top form, can trouble india

and i hope sarfraz's doesnt captain like the first india match but like england match

Team bats second will win most likely (as seen in all previous matches)....so toss is highly critical

provided pitch is dry/used/sticky. on fresh wicket like today, Pakistan have no chance even if they bowl first. India would score 330+.
 
India. Heart wants Pak but I'm a realist. It's been, what? 7-years? Since our last win? We have regressed whilst India has progressed making great strides.
 
Sarfaraz knows that this is the chance to create history , I think Pakistan should be charged up . People forget the finalists , winners are remembered.
 
If we win the toss and chase 70% we will win.
 
Sarfraz, the tactician, is cooking up a plan to send Indians home without the trophy.
 
Strong feeling we'll win this game! Suddenly have a strong feeling as a fan that I just want that ICC trophy, we deserve it more than anyone else and on Sunday we should hopefully run through that Indian batting lineup.
 
As much as I want Pakistan to win, I'm 90% sure India will win. However, I just want my Pakistani players to put up a tough fight against them.
 
I think Pakistan will pull off a big upset.

They're due to win one and India are bound to stuff up.

These 2 days before the 1st ball is bowled .... is like a Chinese tourture. Players, specially on our side, have lots of time on their hands ..... to worry !!!! I don't know how the Indians handle this. They see their Team mates and see them worried ..... and wonder " why he is not worried ???? Actually, the Australians hired Psychologist .... just for such an evatuality !!!! We can say, " enjoy the moment ", " play your natural game ", " it is only a game " .... etc. ..... none of it really matters. Because, in the end they know that, if they Fail .... there would be some sort of a Black Mark on them .... that can't be erased for ever !!!!!
 
Its World T20 2009 all over again when Pak get going there is no stopping them.

Bowlers have clicked and with Fakhar and Ashraf in the side batting has become somewhat ok. Just need to shuffle according to match situation.

Go with 5 pacers and only Shadab.

Great feeling this time because we are really fired up and under Safraz are doing really well. Just need to concentrate and play the best cricket.

This is the best time to defeat India and start changing the 13-2 score...
 
Pakistan will go into self destruction again. Just like ALL previous times.

Should be a one sided match.

I am waiting for those chest thumping WE ARE CORNERED TIGERS, WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE, INDIA IS AT PRESSURE, WE ARE UNPREDICTABLE kind of statements from pak team only later to admit, THEY OUTPLAYED US.
 
Anything can happen in cricket, but India are the favorites by some distance. Pakistani players turn into kittens when going up against India in a big match
 
Both teams are entering the final with good momentum and form. Comparing both teams man though, India should win InshaAllah

Form of Ashwin is a concern, though (might be tempted to get back Umesh in place of him in the finals).
 
Think the oval being a belter will play a huge part in this.

Ashwin would be a better choice as Pakistan have bottled against Indian spinners in knock out matches like these. Reminds me of Bhajji in 2011.

True, I could be (statistically) wrong in saying this but off-late he doesn't seem to be as effective as Limited overs bowler that he once was.

I would be happy if he comes good in the finals for us (if he plays).
 
Both Pakistan and India have peaked at the right time and are on a roll. Here's hoping for a cracker of a game.
 
Pakistan have improved a lot since that beating they got from India. They have identified the right combo now. But books have set the odds same as when they set for first game. This shows books and public think that no matter what combination pak come up with, result would be same. Interesting.

Question is, who will be the scapegoat when India takes care of business this time? There is no Wahab Riaz to take the blame. Who will have to fall on their sword?
 
A BIG 'Hello' to all Pakpassion members, my 1st post here, as mentioned earlier India is playing like champions and Pakistan has shown the world what it's capable of if they want to beat any team they can on the day.

Both teams are passionate and I am 100% sure will fight till the end. The game is going to be a cracker and I will be backing Pakistan as I feel their young guns with a very street wise captain Sarfraz will just scrape through in the end.
 
Pakistan definitely, India will have no answer to our bowling and will roll over to a below par score.

I actually do want the younger Pakistan players like Hassan, Fakhar, Amir to come good, but hoping that Hafeeez or Azhar fail, otherwise the cricketing world will have to see these dot ball kings for more years.
