Assume that the matches will be played on a decent ODI wicket [according to current rules and regulations] with enough assistance there for the bowlers as well as runs for the batsmen when they get in.

Also assume that the players are in decent nick.

Kapil, Starc, Bond, Murali and Viv ... easily the most explosive team with greatest ODI batsman, allrounder and spinner. Bond and Starc too are up there with ATGs as far as ability is concerned.

Team 6 perfect combination . 3 out of 5 times atleast one of openers will click. Then with virat abd and pietersen they have a super solid middle order capable of adjusting in any condition and match situation. All five can take the attack to opposition whenever required.Then they have two atg fast bowling allrounders who will take wickets and be economical at same time.Brett lee will always take wickets with his express pace. Then spin bowling due of mysterious narine and a great odi spinner of tahir will complement each other perfectly. For back up they have dilshan and williams who can also keep things tight.
I see it as a perfect team with probably almost all players barring one / two able to win match on their own. A team capable of chasing down any target and also able to defend any target.

In a league (9 match each), Team 5 & 6 should make the final. In an one off final anyone can win (that's true for every team - every team has few outstanding individual, who can win a match alone on his day)., but in a best of 3 or best of 5 final, team 6 should win.

Even Flintoff wipes the floor with Kapil.... Imran, Kallis, Hadlee, Pollock, all were better all-rounders, or at least same category.... Only an indian would call him GOAT, even in ODIs..... Decent 5th-6th bowler and inconsistent lower oder hitter....
