I'd personally say Umar Akmal is the worst cricketer to have played for Pakistan in the past 10 years. Absolutely atrocious in all formats of the game. Rafatullah Mohmand also comes to mind as a player who never should've played for Pakistan.
 
As much i hate umar akmal he was gun player from 2010 to 2014 .so he was not the worse player .i would go with anwar ali

He played well in his 1st t20 to be fair.

But yes, one of the worst to have debuted in last 10 years.

Farhat played in the last 10, didn't he?

Think he has the highest opening partnership though lol
 
How are people saying Umar Akmal? The guy was a pretty good LO bat for a few years. Not amazingly consistent but then again he was up and down the order and never given a proper batting role. Plus his commitment was not what it should have been. None oft hat makes him the worse.

Remember Rao Iftikhar the medium pacer? Or that other guy, bearded, skinny, can't remember if he was last 10 or beyond but yeah, the two worst to play for Pakistan.

Some people saying Imam?? Seriously after Babar the guy has scored most centuries for Pakistan in ODIs in last 3 years and maybe more along with Fakhar. He havent even played for a year yet and is just 22.

Not saying he is great as he is yet to play against oppositions like India, Eng, Nz, SA but worst ever seriously.

Just bcz his uncle in Inzi!! Comeon guys.
 
Rao iftikhar anjum definitely not the worst lol the guy was a decent support bowler economical and chipping in with wickets

Imran Khan, remember this guy playing 1 t20 and was awful... worst bowler I’ve ever seen!!!

Don't know why Imam's name got mentioned either lol, he has been steady.
 
Iftikhar Ahmed, not only was he one of the worst..can't believe that he was only 25 at the time of debut. I remember the english commentators were also questioning/joking about his age lol.

Imran Khan Jr was also another.
 
Imran Farhat,Raftullah and Awais Zia. Any one of them.

People saying Umar Akmal are being too emotional. He's brainless and got an awful attitude so it's reasonable to despise the guy, but to say he's the worst player to play for Pakistan in the last 10 years is ludicrous. He was very good from 2009-2012, and had some good spells in 2014.

Worst Bowler: Wahab Riaz
Worst Batsman: Umar Akmal

Literally worst players regarless of impact to team:

Bowler: Rao Ifthikar
Batsmen: Awais Zia
 
Looks like no one remembers the WK batsman Shakeel Ansar, who played a couple of T20s against Sri Lanka in 2012.

Him, Rafatullah and Imran Khan (the slower ball specialist) are the three worst cricketers to have represented Pakistan in the last decade in my opinion.

Honorable mentions: Iftikhar and Awais Zia.
 
That WK guy who played in the WI tour right after 2011 WC debacle. His name was Mohammad Salman if I’m not wrong. Used to play for Faisalabad Wolves. Couldn’t bat even if his life depended on it. Man those were some dark times.
 
Rao is maligned for no good reason... he was decent.. how about rahat.. and that keeper who ran away to England.. forgot his name!! Lol

His batting was terrible, but he kept very well against spin. He read Ajmal better than Sarfraz, Kamran, Adnan and Umar. Rashid Latif rated him highly as well.

Zulqarnain. He nearly scored a hundred in a Test in England, many players have done worse than him.
 
In ODIs it has to be Asad Shafiq.

Surprised to see many people name U Akmal, he was a good cricketer at that time (not anymore though)

Rafatuallah was just selected too late in his career

He read Saeed Ajmal better because they both played together for faisalabad. Otherwise he was just as bad as anyone else. Shakeel ansar had the batting potential but he couldn’t fulfill that promise in the international cricket.

When I saw him in WT20, I couldn't believe that such a mediocre bowler could play international cricket.

Rafatullah and Iftikhar Ahmed are the next two worst players.

He was a medium pacer with a little bit of control, Asif was miles beyond him. Fair enough he did ok in a couple of tests but he was not where Pakistan bowling needed to be.

Pakistan bowling was terrible when he started playing.

From 2003-2005, we only had Kaneria and a hot and cold duo of "Charsi Posh" Akhtar and "Tere Naam Wayward" Mohammad Sami.

I still remember that huge grunt and when the speed came up, 128-133kph range...was embarrassing.

Don't know why "Bao the constrictor" gets so much hate. The guy played within the skill set he had.

Another person I would like to add is, Awais Zia.
