Rizwan's keeping in the last two games has been outstanding. He has definitely looked a better keeper than Sarfraz but Sarfraz is a much better batsman than him. The question is when Sarfraz comes back should he come directly into the playing XI; the answer is a resounding yes but at the expense of Rizwan?
Considering the quality of keeping Rizwan has done it is it easy to ignore it. Should Sarfraz play as a batsman alone?
Interesting

rizzy took some great catches.
for me if we r going to have a combo that has imad at 8 i would go for the better wicketkeeper automatically.
if imad is gna b 7 with amir/hasan at 8 i would go for the better bat.

yes rizwan keeping is miles better than sarfraz especially keeping against spinners he is very sharp and has improved a lot from his earlier stints as wicketkeeper...tough competition for sarfraz which is healthy for the team...

Rizwan has really struggled with the bat. I don't think he belongs at this level. However, his keeping has been a breath of fresh air.

Having Sarfaraz in the outfield will further degrade our already abysmal fielding standards.

Sarfraz is a very good #4/#5 batsman but a mediocre keeper. However our batting lineup is so bad we have to play him.

Rizwan has been extremely poor with the bat and has looked completely out of sorts. Meanwhile, Sarfaraz was our best batsman in the England series and has been brilliant for more than a year now.

However, Rizwan's keeping has been nothing short of brilliant so far, especially against spin. Head and shoulders above Sarfraz and it clearly shows that he's been working very hard to improve his keeping.

Overall, I would still pick Sarfraz for his batting prowess. Rizwan's batting needs to come on leaps and bounds to challenge Pakistan's vice-captain consistently.

there's no question Sarfraz is the better batsmen

their comparable as keepers, Sarfraz has good day and bad days
I think Rizwan keeps for an extended period of time, he'll have bad days as well

overall, I think there's an easy answer to this- Sarfraz
