Just like you have forgotten yooooooo essssss aaaay!

Certainly can't fault his leadership and how he's united his squad. In sha Allah, his batting will improve in the shortest format. This guy has good intentions and giving his 100%, so he deserves all the success.
Acha so now we should award players based on their intentions. Shabash topspin badshah! What a top tier performance by you 👏

He is playing well these days in ODI's and test. So please stop ruining him and put him out of his misery by dropping him of the T20I squad.
With a domestic T20 average/SR combo of 20/117 he should never have been selected.
Selection should be based on domestic cricket and not on other formats or on like/dislike.

Just like you forgot how we got defeated 3 times in 1 event by India
That is borderline trolling.

That is just as losing to AU in a 3 test series vs losing one test against some no name.

There is no shame losing against the best side 3 back to back games vs one game to a team that people won't even know the ranking about. If people can't see Babar's nerves in big games, that is due to an infatuation. I don't care who leads, but lead with courage or don't.

I wouldn’t expect a RizBar loyalist like you to grasp this perspective. Unlike your beloved duo, Salman Agha is actually a likeable player because he doesn’t chase stats and milestones at the expense of the team.

Despite his limitations, Salman Agha has built a reputation for delivering clutch innings under pressure. The same cannot be said for your fake king.

I’ve always said that you should not have different captains for ODIs and T20s.

T20s is like a byproduct of ODI cricket and same individual should captain both sides. Otherwise, creates too much of a mess and you can’t really plan well for your limited overs strategy.

SSA is the only choice at the moment

He is most undeserving captain of any international T20 team at this moment. He is not even suitable to play T20IS forget about captaincy. :kp

Why are you so obsessed with YK?

Is it going to change the reality of what happened to Rizwan? Being booted out of the T20i captaincy after 5 games, and the side. Also then losing the ODI captaincy….

How is your newfound obsession with YK going to change anything that is hard for you to swallow?
one at a time. Let me finish my convo with top tier topspin first.

I’d give him one chance saloon at 3 and if it doesn’t work boot him out. I think that’s more than fair.

THREAD IS ABOUT SALMAN ALI AGHA AS T20 CAPTAIN....

STAY ON TOPIC NOW

I’d like to see Pakistan cricket experiment with new captains in T20 other than the usual suspects (Babar, Rizwan, Shadab, Shaheen, Agha).

The PSL, with 2 new teams and a new management at Multan could give us look at new options.

I believe we’ll see both Haris and Irfan get captaincy gigs and I also see Saim as a future captain.

I hope I’m wrong (in that Agha leads Pakistan to trophy success), but I don’t see Agha in the team post World Cup. Shaheen also shouldn’t be captain as we need to now seriously monitor his workload. Babar and Rizwan should not be picked in T20s.

Thus, I’d give it to Saim w/ Shadab as vice captain. It’s a new era and maybe it’s time for a new captain to make new mistakes.

In the 1st T20I of Pakistan’s tour of Sri Lanka 2026, Salman Ali Agha scored 16 (11) before being caught by Pathum Nissanka off Wanindu Hasaranga.

You always ask for it and you will always be on the receiving end of my knockout blows. Many more to come in 2026 because I'm not finished with you.

One fluke on a small ground on a wet outfield doesn’t change the fact that Agha is not suited for T20s. Did he win the game? No sir he did not.

Check his overall career performance. The law of averages is against this mediocre T20 player.

More so a reason that we can't afford both Babar and Salman.

Even Babar at his very best has never produced anything close to this and if he was capable of it, he would’ve done it by now, considering he’s played over three times as many T20Is as Agha. But let’s imagine he somehow pulled it off, you’d still be campaigning for him to be man of the series on that single performance alone, because this is what man of the series looks like to you:

I propose Babar to be man of series. Solid in chases and top fielding.

1st match - Zimbabwe: Duck
2nd match - Sri Lanka: 16 off 22 balls
3rd match - Zimbabwe: 74 off 52 balls
4th match - Sri Lanka: Another Duck
Final - Sri Lanka: Unbeaten 37 off 34 balls

127 runs scored at a strike rate of 112 in 5 matches.

Also, the other day you vouched for a pro-Babar post to be awarded POTW even though it was a copy and paste job from ChatGPT.

It's quite obvious that you support Babar for non-cricketing reasons.

He played an innings of a lifetime.

It will hopefully give him confidence that he can play aggressive cricket.

More importantly, it should lift the entire dug out batters.

If Agha can do it, there is no excuse others cannot!
Very good point.

More importantly, he seems to have found his position- bat him at 3, it is kn him to sink or swim
