Will anybody dethrone Umar Akmal? Or will the talented batsman successfully defend his title?

Sharjeel and Shahzaib Hasan with Shahzaib cementing his spot in Pakistan T20 line-up. Him opening with Chris Gayle will do really good for him.

Sharjeel, Umar or Babar. 3 best Pakistani batsmen in the tournament

Akmal might steal the show again. :uakmal

It also might be from Sharjeel, Shahzaib, Malik and Maqsood.

Both Malik and Maxi have fallen under the radar, but they are both very capable T20 batsmen and have carried their domestic sides for years.

Malik has done very well for Pak, but Maxi hasn't lived up to expectations on the intl. stage and we haven't seen the best of him for Pak.

I hope he does well in this PSL and gets a recall to the national side because he is a strong and powerful hitter of the ball.

That's true. It would be beneficial because we don't have many good hitters in our LOI sides.

Shehzad followed by Luke Wright

Go Gladiators!

Chris Gayle would be my dark horse. He rarely fails two seasons in a row in these T20 leagues. I'm expecting some big scores from him this season.

I think it will be Shehzad as he has been in terrific form in domestics recently

brandy will rip apart bowling line ups..
sharjeel is favourite among pak players.
And I literally want shazaib to do well.. so we get rid of shehzad

Think it will be Shehzad.

It's so sad he hasn't performed at international level. Excelled in domestic in all three formats, does well in these domestic leagues (where he does face international bowlers). And is still pretty young at 25. Just one of those like Umar Akmal and Jamshed who excelled at an early age and showed promise, and you expected them to be regulars in the international side by now but it hasn't happened.

1: Sharjeel Leo:sharjeel

2: Selfie Shehzad :ahmed

3: Chota Akmal :uakmal

4: Brendon McCullum:bm

5: Skipper Sarfraz :sarf

only if he and chota akmal could have worked on their attitude issues as well. Its in their head that they too gooda player to do any practice or any hard work.. as if Pak team is their baap ki jaiyzaad..

Amazed to see Umar akmal in pipe line. Not sure who but definitely will play for Pakistan in future.

Brendon, Sharjeel, Kamran, Roy or Umar. Can't ruled out shehzad too .

Eoin Morgan...he was hitting so nicely and cleanly in the last series against india

Didn't know he was playing in the PSL, that's cool, he's one of the best batsmen to watch in cricket he's so inventive.

My picks would be Babar Azam, Sohaib Maqsood or Haris Sohail (hopefully)

People picking Sarfaraz when he bats at number 5 or 6

In T20 tournaments only openers, 3 or max number 4 will ever be in the top run scorers. That's just the nature of the beast.

Last year in PSL Ravi Bopara was only 6 runs behind to be the leading run scorer, where he batted mostly at no 5,6 and sometimes at 7.So anyone can become leading runs scorer depending on the players playing along them.

He's captain.

Think he'll bat himself at #4.

Who will have the highest strike rate in the tournament?

Currently:

B. McCullum: 214
Pollard: 195
Narine: 193
Misbah: 169
K. Akmal: 163

Who will make the highest individual score?

Kamran Akmal's 88 vs IU is still the top score. Will anyone make a hundred?

Needs to look to improve his strike rate but fans too need to be a bit patient.

The only issue with him is strike rate but i have seen improvement from last game in his attacking game which

is very good

needs to improve his power hitting. An SR of under 120 isnt that impressive has a bright future still though.

Good to see him on top I really hope he catch up with power game soon he is one for the future for Pakistan.

Babar tries to attack and be useful for his team but all of a sudden, ends up with too many dots and a slow strike

Called it
