Australian Tour is always tough for a sub-continent batter. For me, Babar and Abdullah will be the front-runners. Who will be your pick, do comment and vote.

I have a feeling that Shan will somehow rise to the occasion. He will want to prove that he actually merits a place in the team let alone be a captain. I am not hopeful of any decent performance from him at all but I do hope for it nonetheless. He has shown to navigate the moving and short ball well in Australia last year so hopefully he makes a mark in this series. We're stuck with him so might as well back him

I think we can bank on these three players on this tour : babar, saud and shan masood

Indian batters always scored runs even when we were not winning series . Babar is going to score more runs

Babar is likely to be our best bat. With all the captaincy trauma he has gone through in the past couple of years he would now feel free and this might bring the best out of him.

Without any second thought it's going to be babar azam as he is the only 1 who plays pace quite well.

Hopefully Babar can dominate one away series in Aus. Normally, I see others scoring more and Babar playing a support role. He should be the main person to score heavily. Spin is not a huge factor so he can bat longer.

I'm backing Saud Shakeel. High risk high reward prediction

Babar will be the top run scorer. Saud is a good shout too.

I think these two are the only ones who will even put up a fight.

Rizwan tops every chart in white ball. Let's see if he can do the same in tests now.

It’ll be Sarfaraz, he will give some sort of credibility to our score after our top order collapses.

Faheem Asharf , really ??? Not surprise with your choice since you also think Misbah as the greatest thing ever happened to cricket.
you do know that Yasir Shah scored a 100 in Australia?

Got it, so that's your logic of expecting Faheem to be the top scorer there.
You are not getting the point.

No pakistani batter is gonna score runs here. Tailenders with there surviving 30s will and can most probably outscore the batters in these australian conditions.

Having seen us loss every test here, i doubt any batter can get runs. Rizwan could and even babar as there will be no spin. But thats about it

Should be babar because he is the most equipped technically but I've lost all confidence in him. Fully expecting a nothing series from him.

Shafique will be my choice. He has a tendency for 1 big score/series.

Fwiw, I'm rooting for Saud because he has been our best test batsman since he came into the team. I just hope he shows he can be successful in SENA too.

Babar, Abdullah, and Saud are the top 3 contenders for this. Babar really needs a good series to drag himself out of the firing line.

Only 3 votes for Shan till now to be the top-scorer in the test series. But his performance in the Tour game is hinting at something else.

shan masood or Sarfraz ahmed, shaan has played few long innings in country recently he's in good form

Babar has regressed and he failed in these conditions last year.

Babar and imam will be easy targets they have been found out and Haven't improved their game since.

Both are in good nick

Three voters for Rizwan.

Abdullah Shafique was looking very good in the warm up before he got out. He is prone to a soft dismissal though.

I have high hopes for him in this series as if he gets a start he has the capability to really build on it.

He is a find for Pakistan and could play all formats for us.

I think one of them among Babar, Abdullah, Rizwan, Shan, Saud will come up with a decent knock in every innings, but the bowlers will have a real nightmare in this series. Pakistan as usual is going to loose because of poor bowling performance in Australian conditions.

To me it's either Shan Masood or Babar Azam any one of them could be a high scorer for Pakistan.

I am withdrawing my pick of Babar Azam.

For now Abdullah Shafiq is looking good and the leading run scorer for Pakistan in this test series having scored 106 runs in 3 innings with an average of 35.33

I would pick shan as he looked good today and can score runs more consistently in upcoming innings only if he plays his natural game. He has scored 86 runs in 3 innings so far with an avg of 28.66. He also has made a half century today during the second day of the Boxing Day thread

Shafique needs to get 1 hundred at the moment he is getting out to loose strokes or not making it count.

still sticking with shan masood

Who would have thought that Babar would fail badly and Shan would emerge as the best batter of this series?

Still 1 match to go but I guess it will be SHan who will be at the top at the end of the series.

What is the use of Imam ul Haq and Saud Shakeel in this Test series against Australia?

Imam ul Haq averages 23.50, and Saud Shakeel averages 21.25 in 2 Test Matches.

Should we continue with them in the 3rd Test

Me bro and I have already posted it before the series even started

Babar has regressed in the last couple of years
His downfall started in Asia cup 2022 but babar lovers are not willing to accept it babar will give you one flashy innings vs Nepal bangladesh Afghanistan etc... babar has just stopped working hard on his game. Fame has got to his head

On the other hand shan have been working hard in improving his game in domestic and English county

Shan Masood is likely to be the highest run scorer for Pakistan because he is playing with a positive intent and its in old saying that fortune favors the brave.

Have a look at the top run-scorer for Pakistan against Australia in 3 Test match series. Many would have thought that it would be Babar Azam but nope, Mohammad Rizwan shines with the bat again and he only played 2 matches.
