The race for finsihing in the top 4 is heating up with Arsenal finding form and Man Utd and Chelsea also in with a shout, whilst Spurs have lost form of late.

Who do you think will finish in the top 4 this season?

This is a multi-vote poll.

Arsenal have a relatively easy ride to the finish now BUT have been poor away. Still think that recently they have been very good and will likely get top 4.
United are my team and thus I have a personal bias in choosing them. Wishful thinking maybe - but quality they have and the perfect karma of Poch blowing it and Ole nicking it at the last minute will be stuff of legends.:135:

Difficult to call.

Im going for Arsenal and Chelsea.

Utd are being outplayed by Wolves right now and have some tough fixtures to come inc a derby v City.

Spurs should put up a bottle on their new stadium.

Crucial defeat for Man Utd at Wolves, 2-1.

Wolves step up again and deserved the win.

Everton away, Man City and Chelsea at home are huge games for Utd and they need to win all 3 imo to make top 4.

Arsenal down to 4th....

They haven't played yet this game week...Let's see how they do against Everton, the Gunners have struggled away, hopefully they lose/draw today

Not really? They have a game in hand over their main top 4 rivals? If they win their game in hand against Watford, they'll go back to 4th! What makes you say they're in trouble?

Arsenal have a really trick set of fixtures coming up - especially Watford . they are also left with crystal palace, wolves and leicester . They can easily drop points in atleast half of these matches

I agree but just the manner in which they lost to Everton makes me nervous

Yes but I wouldn't say they're in trouble. It's in their hands

United need to win 4 off 5. They have to beat Chelsea and can then afford to lose to city.
Arsenal will drop 6 points from their next 4 games, 3 tricky away games ( for them) and palace at home( palace play better on road)
Got to take it game at a time and everton away is massive for us

A Ben Foster howler and a needless Troy Deeney red card helped Arsenal climb back into the Premier League top four with victory at Watford.

Goalkeeper Foster gifted the Gunners an opening goal after 10 minutes when he took too long on the ball after collecting a back pass, allowing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to charge down his clearance and deflect the ball in.

Just a minute later, Watford captain Deeney was sent off for throwing his forearm into the face of Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira in a late challenge.

Despite playing with 10 men for 80 minutes, Watford offered the far greater threat, hitting the bar through Adam Masina's powerful drive from distance in the second half, and forcing Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno into a number of excellent saves.

The German denied Craig Cathcart well with his feet shortly after Deeney's red card - and later in the first half dived at full stretch to tip away Etienne Capoue's goalbound free-kick.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles also produced a crucial block with 10 minutes remaining when he slid in to block Andre Gray's shot after the Watford striker had rounded Leno.

The visitors' only real chance came midway through the second half but Foster brilliantly spread himself to block Henrikh Mkhitaryan's volley from close range.

The Gunners were well below their best but the rare away win could prove crucial in the race to qualify for next season's Champions League.

They climb two places to fourth in the table, two points clear of Manchester United and ahead of Chelsea on goal difference.

On the balance of play, Watford should have taken three points from this game; a win would have seen them jump from 10th to seventh in the Premier League.

Instead they were left ruing two foolish incidents within 95 seconds of each other.

There seemed little danger when Foster collected a back pass just outside his six-yard box but he dawdled on the ball allowing the pacey Aubameyang enough time to close him down.

Deeney's foul was not vicious or particularly dangerous, but foolish and unnecessary.

He chased down Torreira deep in the Arsenal half and after the Uruguayan had passed the ball threw his forearm into his opponent's face.

Deeney said Arsenal lacked "cojones" after Watford won this fixture last season, adding that "whenever I play against Arsenal, I'll go up and think, 'let me whack the first one and see who wants it'". He may not have had those comments on his mind tonight but they will likely amuse Arsenal fans.

Following the red card, Watford were far superior and in the final 20 minutes it was they who were pressing for an equaliser, rather than Arsenal looking likely to score a second goal.

Had Watford, and in particular Gray, shown greater composure in the penalty box, then they may well have taken at least a point.

The Gunners too lacked composure when they did get into attacking positions, and for the most part their build-up play was too slow, but the win could prove crucial nonetheless.

Arsenal had only won two of their away games in 2019 before this match - at bottom-of-the-table Huddersfield and at League One Blackpool in the FA Cup.

Their home form - the third-best in the league - has kept them in the hunt for the top four, and a rare win on the road keeps them in control of their hopes.

Leno's good saves, key clearances from captain Laurent Koscielny and Watford's wastefulness allowed them to keep their first clean sheet away from home this season. They had the only top-flight side without one on their travels.

Unlike their top-four rivals, Arsenal do not play any of the Premier League's 'big six' before the end of the season - but must keep winning on the road if they are to seal Champions League qualification.

They have tricky away games to come against seventh-placed Leicester and eighth-placed Wolves as well as a trip to Burnley on the final day.

Tha was huge for arsenal. Oh so lucky.
United may need 4 wins and a draw now unless palace can beat arsenal at the Emirates

Arsenal's hopes of a top-four finish were dented after Christian Benteke's first goal in a year helped Crystal Palace to an excellent win which confirmed their Premier League place.

Benteke was left unmarked to head Luka Milivojevic's delivery past Bernd Leno, only for Mesut Ozil to equalise with a clever finish shortly after half-time.

However, two goals in eight minutes ended Arsenal's 10-match winning league run at Emirates Stadium.

Wilfried Zaha capitalised on a mistake by Shkodran Mustafi to restore Palace's lead and James McArthur's header made it 3-1 before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reduced the deficit with his 19th league goal of the season.

With Manchester United on the receiving end of a hammering at Everton earlier in the day, and Tottenham losing at Manchester City the previous day, this was an ideal opportunity for the Gunners to take a big step towards securing a Champions League place.

Yet Unai Emery's side were punished for an awful defensive performance as they fell to only a second home league defeat under the Spaniard.

The marking for Benteke's goal was non-existent, Mustafi's failed attempt to block Zaha ended in embarrassment and a second Palace goal, while McArthur was also left unmarked to head home the third.

Captain Laurent Koscielny and leading scorer Aubameyang were starting their third game in eight days but this was an under-par performance by a team looking to finish in the top four for the first time in three seasons.

The Gunners monopolised possession but it required a double change at half-time to help them get back on level terms after Benteke's header separated the teams at the interval.

Alex Iwobi, one of the substitutes, was involved in Ozil's lovely equaliser, his pass finding Alexandre Lacazette to set up the German.

That should have been the signal to push on, yet Arsenal fell away and, despite a late rally which saw Aubameyang score, will fall out of the top four if Chelsea beat Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Monday (20:00 BST).

Spurs and Chelsea for me.

Spurs look great at their new stadium and have shown they can perform v anyone they face unfortunately.

Chelsea are hit and miss but aren't a disaster like United and don't have as many tough away games as Arsenal do, and with Arsenal losing v Palace at home, they may end up focusing on the UEL.

In a one game affair in a neutral stadium I'd expect Arsenal to have a pretty good chance vs Chelsea or Frankfurt. I think they're favourites so I wouldn't be surprised if they focus on it.

Aren't Millwall in the championship? Didn't Spurs fans throw a banana skin at Aubameyang? Poor list from you :srt

Chelsea won’t beat Leicester and United away. You only have 4 points against the top 12 away from home. Even our away record is better than that!!!

To be fair Leicester has some decent people and their fans seem a bit nicer compared to others

You're having to play the likes of Mustafi and Jenkinson in the PL, while your best box to box midfielder (Ramsey) is injured, not to mention the fact that you have to play Wolves and Leicester away + Valencia games. I don't see how Arsenal have any better of a chance.

You're obsessed Shaz. I know Villa are irrelevant but give it a rest. :))

They were only playing for rotation. They won't start every game. Your 1st team defence doesn't even suit Sarri system other than Luiz.

Wolves aren't playing for anything. Leicester is our only difficult away game. I would expect us to beat Brighton and Burnely. 8 points should be enough for us to get into the top 4.

Wolves are playing for something actually, 7th will give them a chance to get UEL qualification because winning the EFL cup or FA cup gives you UEL qualification and that will get passed down to 6th and 7th due to City (most likely) winning both cups.

That's my point with rotation, you've got UEL games in that run-in where you play a few away games so you're going to rotate and suffer in performance because of it. Though I do expect Arsenal to beat Brighton and Burnley.

I don't think they are that worried about it. Look how they performed against Brighton. Also their squad is extremely thin. So tiredness could creep in.

Brighton is after the 1st leg of the Europa, Burnley after the 2nd leg. Leicester is before the 1st game. Europa league wont effect us now.

Wolves seem to be poorer against bottom sides for whatever reason and like to shop up against the top 6. Like Liverpool a few seasons back in a weird way.

That's interesting. I guess the fixture list is not as bad I thought but your squad players seem quite weak. Even against Brighton you could draw to them if you play a midfield of Guendouzi and Elneny with the likes of Mustafi at the back. Burnley are horrible as a team, they will cheat and fight for any result so who knows.

3-0 to Wolves at the moment. This is why I'm confused at how you're so confident.

City take the lead 0-1

Utd are poor, dont deserve to be in the CL. LFC will have to hope City doesn't win in one of the remaining fixtures now.

Did you actually expect United to do anything? They've been pathetic since SAF left, only reason why it's not as obvious to people is because they've won a few trophies here and there since. I'm pretty sure they've finished in the top 4 twice since SAF left which is actually comical.

Unfortunately no matter how bad United get, I can easily see a comfortably 2-0 win for them vs us on the weekend because of our diabolical away form. Here's hoping Chelsea realise United are there to be exposed at the back.

You can't be a true footy fan from the UK if you don't pick up on the significance of this song :mv I suspect Markhor will though :yk3

Arsenal are blowing it. With Man United losing two tough games (Everton & Man City), Arsenal should have at least won against Crystal Palace at Emirates. Wolves are a tough proposition and a point would have been decent.

Hopefully Man United vs Chelsea will be a draw and Arsenal will be able to limp to a win at Leicester.

Too many frustratingly soft defeats this season. Not only fourth, but even the third place was up for grabs. Nevertheless, a top four + the winning the Europa League would be a fantastic first season for Emery.

I feel like this has been the case every season for 15 years for Arsenal. What stops them from achieving their goals for the season has always been soft losses that were seemingly easily preventable. If it weren't for this Arsenal would've have won the 15/16 league title, however everyone knew that when they were top at around January time IIRC, it was only a matter of time before they choked.

Liverpool not only need to win every game but they need Man City to lose a game along the way to, Man City would have to be favourites from here ?

Wolverhampton have had a remarkable comeback season KingKhanWC s28 I think they have picked up the most points vs top 6, next season you'd expect them to be strong contenders to finish inside the top 4. Great to see them do well :mv

Arsenal and Man U to miss how far the mighty jave fallen imagine Gooners and Red Devils outside top 2 some 15- yrs ago let alone top 4

Very impresssed with Wolves this season, cant recall a team being promoted doing so well in their first season in the top flight. There issue has been beating the lower teams and have done really well against the top 6. Yes I wouldn't rule them out of the top 4 next season if they can bring in a top quality defender.

They suffer from lack of consistency and motivation at times, they seem to get up only when the stage demands it but in the EPL you can't get away with this if you want to win titles and play at the highest level, a change in their mindset will help in a massive way; they need to show the same ruthlessness they did in the championship

Cant disagree. But they have money to spend and will improve next season, the club has some big plans for the future.

Utd are held at Huddersfield and failed to qualify for CL.

Arsenal are drawing 1-1 at home to Brighton. They need to win this with 15 mins to go!

So it's all but over:

Man City
Liverpool
Chelsea
Spurs

Arsenal need Spurs to lose and win their last game...with an 8 goal swing! All over in the league but Arsenal can qualify by winning the Europa cup but imo unlikely as the will have to beat a good Valencia side and then most likely Chelsea in the final.

12% of Huddersfields goals this season have been scored against Man Utd :yk2 let that sink in, they deserve to be eliminated from the CL

Absolute disaster for Arsenal at the end

It'll be very disappointing if we can't beat Arsenal if we play them in the UEL final seeing how poor their defence is. Especially after failing to take our chances v United at Old Trafford.

Really hope Arsenal can win Europa, but I have my doubts. We may not even make the final, given how awful we've been away from home!
