So Man city won the title for a 4th season in a row to confirm PL as a farmers league.

So will Man city win a 5th PL title on spin? Can Liverpool or Arsenal actually win title rather then celebrating points totals and failure? Any dark horse outsiders?

Predictions for title winners and the Top 6 (All predictions have to be in before the 1st game of the season on friday night UK time, so before Man united start their game.

No change in predictions allowed at any point after season starts, this is a bit if fun so please don't cry if you miss the deadline.

Didn’t see the thread but here is my prediction.

1. City
2. Liverpool
3. Arsenal
4. Newcastle
5. Man Utd
6. Spurs


City look strong to win their 5th in a row . Most feel it’s arsenals year . Finishing 2nd twice , they should be winning it now but imo their squad depth is not good enough as injuries will be more than last season. Liverpool have a great squad but Slots first season will need some gelling .

I think Arsenal will win it this season. Consistency and the level of performance will be there to take them all the way, whilst city will be not quite as strong and may not be quite as motivated after breaking the record of most consecutive titles last season

History & jealousy. City have only become a world class team after Abu Dhabi takeover . Chelsea was similar until Roman bought it . City is the best team in the world, has been for years . But Liverpool, Arsenal & Utd have huge global following. English football is unique , over a 100 clubs are sold out , people love their local club usually

End of next year . Salah has been left out of Egypt squad for the international break as they have already qualified. Good rest needed as until Xmas the toughest Period . Real Madrid & Man City after each other coming up . Two bad defeats and it falls apart . However Liverpool are capable of winning both . If they beat city , title is up for grabs . City will buy in jan if need be , they come strong in 2nd half . Liverpool need a 90% fit squad to go the distance

Would have been happy with a point at Anfield, that puts us about par with Arsenal now LFC are looking fantastic though, we could really do with the upcoming break.

Would love to see Salah with another title or city to that effect but under Arteta won't root for Gunners.
