Will Murray and Djokovic continue to dominate or will someone else (perhaps an underdog, or a returning great of the game) be able to pull off an upset and go all the way?

Huge upset as Djokovic loses to world #117 Istomin. :broad

Surely Murray's title to lose now.

Mind says Wawrinka but heart says Federer.

A left field option would be Nadal but I'm not convinced he can beat Raonic on these slightly faster courts.

What happened to my boy Jo-Wilfred Tsonga?

lol you sound like Jo Willy is a major contender. He is a good player but his level is QFs of majors which he reached. He may make an odd SF and may beat top players every once in a while but he doesn't have the mentality to win grand slams.

Once saw a 22 year old youngster face the great Federer in the Wimbledon final. He played with such passion, athleticism and exuded energy from his performance that I instantly became a fan of his and has ever since been captivated by him in the world of tennis. I just loved how he gave it his all in every performance with utmost energy and passion. He should never even have played tennis with the dodgy knees he had as a kid, yet has achieved all that he has in his career entirely through sheer grit and determination.

Past few years have been very hard for him struggling with injuries when his peers overtook him. I always knew his body could never cope up with his brand of tennis and sustain it for a long time. In fact I wrote his career off in grand slams a few months ago and it was quite disappointing for me but I resigned to the fact that his body could budge no more. Very heartening to see that he has reached the semis. Still don't know whether he is back to his best or his usual frailties may come to bite him back. However I hope he wins it as a final swan song of what has been a pretty inspiring career on what one could achieve through sheer will power, determination and hard work.

Sure Nadal has one of the best work ethics of all time, but the fact is his game is built on physicality and main contributor to that is how naturally talented and physically gifted he is. Began his decade of domination in clay as a teen out rallying everyone including Federer which clearly indicates the level of talent he had, IMO probably the most talented young tennis player after Federer.

Having said that, I still hope Federer wins tomorrow and on Sunday though Nadal is the favourite now.
