Look at it the other way : India gave us +20 "free" runs.

OP asks what we would have posed as score before going to bat, and I don't think many would have thrown a +300 number, let alone 359.

It was just very good death bowling at the end, and maintaining a RR of 8.80 in the last 5 overs was decent considering the quality.

That's why I said that batting first should not be out if consideration.

Overall ery happy with the teams batting performance.

Bowling is our strength. So let's be positive and back our bowlers. The only think that worries me is our fielding. Indians didn't drop one catch. I hope the fielders have learnt their lesson from the first game. Dropping Kohli and Yuvraj in the same match is suicidal.

Bhai they were bowling yorker pe yorker mixed in with sharp bouncers. Playing cute scoops was the best option to get boundary off yorker. Execution could have been better, but can't really do much against death bowling of this quality.

I am a calm and composed guy. But their repeated attempts to be over smart and play the scoop. After failed attempts you would recon they got wiser but they didn't.

It got to my nerves especially since we had sarfraz next to come.

Forget 338, i did not expect even 300 from Pak.The batters did very well indeed, they were helped by indian bowlers, who apart from Bhuvi were rubbish. Rameez Raja described Bumrah's strength as his "wide Ball", even ashwin was bowling wide today.

When a bowler bowls a yorker - you can attempt a paddle sweep or try and charge the bowler to convert into a low full-toss.

Fakhar played the short ball with ease - Hafeez and Imad should have looked to pull and hook, even a top edge would likely have gone for a boundary.
