I know the Asia Cup is still ongoing and there has been heavy criticism on our Pak team, but lets face it poor planning and poor squad selection has led to this, apart from experience compared to the Indian team. But whatever happens now , we are not favorites to win the final if we get there, so we have nothing to lose and just enjoy and give it our best and you never know. However looking forward to the next big series and we have three big ones before the World Cup , i think Pak board should combine each squad with some experience and some youth. The strategy of all youth team has backfired for sure in this Asia Cup as its only Malik who has the experience and he is the only one performing as well. These are my squads for all formats for the upcoming series against AUS, NZL and SAF. I know some will criticize me but going into the World Cup, we dont have much time to groom or debut new talent.

Regarding Salman Butt, he has been performing and he has international experience, if we can play Amir and forgive him, we can play Butt and give him another chance too. After Saeed he was the best opener we had found and he can groom Sami Aslam who also has the potential as we saw on his debut against England last year.

M.Irfan has been bowing superbly lately especially in the CPL and i think he can be lethal for the 4 hour burst and has experience for sure.
