I think shoaib malik will be captain and shahzad will be there, this line up maybe
1. Ahmed Shahzad
2. Sami aslam
3. Haris sohail
4. Shoaib malik
5. Babar azam
6. Mohammad rizwan
7. Sohaib maqsood
8. Zafar gohar
9. Ahmed jamal
10. Sadaf hussain
11. Junaid khan
Afridi will only be 16 in 2019 so should be around
Shoaib Malik?? LOLLLLL
The youngsters - Afridi, Younis, Misbah will be crux of team in 2019
The part after "Shoaib Malik ?" seems like Malik's captaincy record if he is appointed as captain and if O is considered as a wash out.Shoaib Malik?? LOLLLLL
In England.Pehle ye WC to khatam ho janay do !
Where will the 2019 WC be played ?
ok so from our World cup squad, these players are unlikely to be around for 2019
Misbah and Afridi (retiring after WC)
Younis Khan ( will be very old, probably would have retired)
Mohammad Hafeez was in our original squad (will be quite old and is injury prone)
Mohammad Irfan would have retired, when you are so abnormal height wise, you won't have a long career
Sohail Khan probably won't retire when he's about 34 in 2019 (but we can't be sure his current age now is 30) but he may have had his best days
Same applies for Wahab Riaz
Misbah could be replaced by Saad Nasim
Afridi could be replaced by Zafar Gohar/Hammad Azam
Younis Khan could be replaced by Alam
Mohammad Hafeez could be replaced by Babar Azam, Sami Aslam or perhaps Karamat Ali
Plenty of people who could replace Mohammad Irfan, let's just say it's Amir but I don't think his re integration will be that simple
Sohail Khan and Riaz could potentially be replaced by Imran Khan and Zia ul Haq
I think these replacements are good and if people like Jamshed are better/replaced by then we will have a great chance
Possible WC squad 2019 - compared to 2015
1) Ahmed Shehzad (C)
2) Saad Nasim - Misbah's replacement
3) Ehsan Adil- he would have improved by then I think, at least gained an extra yard of pace or something but if not there is also people like Talha, Bhatti, Zia ul Haq etc
4) Haris Sohail
5) Mohammad Amir - Hopefully he hasn't lost his touch, Irfan's replacement
6) Sami Aslam - unless Jamshed becomes the monster that he once was again
7) Rahat Ali- he will be 30, which is when he will probably be around his peak, but for fast bowlers your career can change massively in 4 years and, there are other bowlers if he isn't good (see who I put by Adil's name)
8) Sarfraz Ahmed (WK)
9) Zafar Gohar - I think he is probably a better replacement for Afridi than Azam is, but could still be Azam or maybe even both
10) Sohaib Maqsood
11) Imran Khan- liked the look of him and I'm sure Sohail Khan's career would have faded away by 2019
12) Umar Akmal
13) Junaid Khan - Think he will be our spear head for 2019 surely
14) Yasir Shah
15) Fawad Alam - hope selectors realise their mistake and maybe his bowling would also have improved, YK's replacement
This squad is very powerful and there are no replacements for Hafeez, who was in the 2015 WC squad originally but later ruled out because I think Alam's and Naasim's bowling ability together (say 5 overs each) can compensate for the fact Hafeez is a proper all rounder (despite the fact he got banned recently)
strongest 11
1) Ahmed Shehzad
2) Sarfraz Ahmed (WK)
3) Sohaib Maqsood
4) Fawad Alam
5) Haris Sohail
6) Umar Akmal
7) Saad Nasim - Over Aslam in the 11 due to the fact he can bowl and so Sarfraz would have to open which may suit him worse than were Sarfraz to bat in the middle but I'd say getting a few overs out of Nasim is probably more important than that.
8) Yasir Shah/Zafar Gohar - it's english conditions so I think whoever is the best batsman between these two at the time should edge it in the 11
9) Imran Khan - right handed bowler so gets the edge in the 11 over Rahat
10) Mohammad Amir
11) Junaid Khan
solid 11 and we have a lot of hard away tours before then ie England Australia and South Africa it is key to get the likes of Nasim and Alam in the team ASAP
