Why Akif Javed and Kamran Ghulam keep getting sidelined?

This has been bothering me for a while now. Both of these players performed when given the chance but were immediately dropped on the first chance.

Why is Akif Javed not in the squad of 17 when you have pathetic bowlers like Faheem Ashraf in t20is and out of form bowler Naseem in ODIs. They brought back Wasim Jnr but Akif and Abbas dont get a look-in? Tbf Waseem Jnr can bat as well as Faheem whos all-rounder tag is fraudlent.

Now lets talk about Kamran Ghulam who is being punished for playing at a strike of 160+ in ODIs at number 4 which is currently occupied by our captain who hogs the spot and is a pathetic player. Then in t20Is you select parchis like Hussain Talat when Ghulam can easily fill that space?

Why do we always short hand ourselves, play mediocre players and then keep on fumbling chances at winning silverware?

Lol hussain talat is anything but parchi do you even watch domestic cricket will know hussain talat has been the best performer plz stop this negativity kamran ghulam is not babar azam or something he was getting out playing reckless shots but for pakistan fans whoever is not in the team is like bradman

Kamran doesn’t come across as International level batter to be honest , he looks poor man Rizwan with slightly better hitting zone but he always looks unsettled at the crease no matter against which team he is playing and it surely looks he will get out every ball even after scoring big 50s and add to that he can’t play anything over 140k

Having said that Hussain Talat is definitely not the answer as well, we can try Shahzaib, Azan or Shamyl in the middle order instead, all of them have good head on their shoulders and having decent power game as well, May be Azan is slightly behind on power game.

Rizwan’s number 4 position is holy cow. You can tell that he is obsessed with playing in that position since he openly spoke out about while answering an engineered pre-planned question at a press conference.

The amount of damage Rizwan and Babar have done is beyond their stat padding. They have ruined the careers of many promising cricketers.

Excuse me? Kamran Ghulam has been the top performer for ages. What were Talat’s stats in the past three domestic seasons? Please share for our enlightenment as well.

Because our selectors are blind and they have a habit of selecting a player for 1 series and then dropping him for good and forgetting about him for years..

Akif Javed hasn't played any cricket in 4 months. Can only assume that he has fitness issues or an undisclosed injury.

With that high jump in his action, his pace also drops after his first spell.

Probably is rehabbing/remodeling that runup.
