What's Rizwan up to though? Where's he at? Why's he not participating?

I'm just frustrated brother. These guys don't take national duty seriously. This time it's fine, I get it, Religion and devotion to God is more important then some national sport. All good, there is no need to respond to your messages above then. I understand your frustrations however. I've become a huge critic of Babar and Rizwan being given a free ride in the team despite ignoring domestic cricket. Although I don't know how many times they've used religion as an excuse like you said, but yeah umrah right now is special and I don't think Babar has intended it as an excuse, as according to hadith, umrah in Ramadan is like umrah with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Respects to you for retracting.
110% agreed. I only came to this conclusion after the 2023 WC failure, but Babar has been instrumental in the downfall of Pak cricket in the last 4-5 years. Manipulating the pitches to his favour, lack of developing players, sticking with non-performers for multiple tournaments, never improving his game, running core players down against minnows, the list is endless.I'm just frustrated brother. But since 2019 these guys don't take fc/ list A seriously. And their only playing leagues for the Money.
What's diabolical is that during Ramiz Era, Babar azam was by far the most powerful man in PCB since the chairman was literally his chamcha.
He had so much power at the time that he could directly influence the pitches. And he abused that power to make phattas so he could avg 70 and as a result our FC cricket declined as well.
No bowler wants to bowl for 80 overs on roads and due to suck tracks, you now get hacks in test cricket lol. Thankfully England eventually put Pakistan in its place.
To top it off, Despite manipulating the entire domestic structure and international structure in his favour, he himself didn't even bother to play domestic and instead went the kohli route by using star power to get gigs.
However kohli abused it in 2019 after he had achieved everything and even then he clearly became a joke in tests.
In the past Babar had enough power to simply say no to everything but post raniz era, he has lost that power and now management force him to play and prioritise national duty but he clearly doesn't want to.
And now we have idiots like aqib who think the solution is to turn every pitch in test, odi and t20 into a lottery pitch. This man wants to make all of Pakistan toss dependant.
Every future batsmen will just be tailender if this happens, pace talent will extinguish and spinners won't actually develop any skills either since on such pitches you can bowl non spin deliveries and those will spin like Shane Warne's deliveries lol.
What's worse is that he wasn't even effective in this era.110% agreed. Manipulating the pitches to his favour, lack of developing players, sticking with non-performers for multiple tournaments, never improving his game, running core players down against minnows, the list is endless.
Let's not forget, once-a-potential great in Shaheen lost his venom, skills and pace all under Babar's captaincy.
So I get it. I just hope these guys don't make it back into the team again with some good PSL performances. They're still captains after all which is ridiculous. Players who can't even make the squad captain the PSL teams
Don't pick them if they aren't abiding by the rules. They should be playing these tournaments even if @Bewal Express is against this. In general players should not be able to pick and choose what they play when they are in bad form.
And some posters were claiming that they were on break as they had to complete a religious ritual.....
Guy played for his club in Peshawar but not for Peshawar region in the national T20 cup. What’s this? A protest?
Yes the 2 most successful t20I batsmen should retire from t20Is a day after we got bowled out by NZ C for 90. @Devadwal @Bewal Express @mominsaigolBoth should gracefully retire from T20Is. For some reason, our experienced players become petty and make it izzat be-izzati ka mas'ala when dropped. Instead, this is a great opportunity for them to focus on longer formats, specially Test cricket.
Younis Khan was a mediocre T20 and ODI batsman but he will remain well respected throughout his life. Even 100 years from now, some nerdy descendent of ours will look back at him with reverence because Younis retired as a Test legend. Contrast this with Shoaib Malik or Amir whose PR teams won't be able to salvage their legacy.

You disagree bro?Yes the 2 most successful t20I batsmen
Stopped reading after this
They had a good run and but we need try others. They will be rubbish but sooner or later someone will rise.Yes the 2 most successful t20I batsmen should retire from t20Is a day after we got bowled out by NZ C for 90. @Devadwal @Bewal Express @mominsaigol
Then how about brining back Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar back as they have very good record in T20's.... Here the team needs to be selected based on last two years of production, please share what these stalwarts have produced from April 2023-March 2025 in T20I.Yes the 2 most successful t20I batsmen should retire from t20Is a day after we got bowled out by NZ C for 90. @Devadwal @Bewal Express @mominsaigol
Unfortunately, some don't even have a good run and are discarded. They had a good run and but we need try others. They will be rubbish but sooner or later someone will rise.
I absolutely have no problems with that. But we should try the youngsters who truly deserve the Pakistan cap. They had a good run and but we need try others. They will be rubbish but sooner or later someone will rise.
Actually it’s conspiracy against generational talent like Babar azam and muhmmad Rizwan in t20 Rizwan’s record and ability isn’t less than to gilchrisit actually somewhat better than him and What babar azam have done all these years his records speaks bout him 8 centuries and best t20 batsman ever born .It’s just malpractice behind their decline ,international conspiracy actually because every team knows well till these guys playing for pak nobody can even think of dominating pak team both won uncountable matches by their heroics .Unfortunately, some don't even have a good run and are discarded.
