I've always wanted to know the reason for this question. Almost every 100m dash or 200m dash is dominated by black athletes. In fact, it would be a huge feat for a non black athlete to even compete in the final. Similarly the marathon events are mostly won by black athletes.
Is there any scientific explanation behind this other than blank statements like black people are genetically more athletic?
Is there any specific gene that makes them more athletic? Or is it due to natural selection like some people have argued in the internet. Or is it their diet and the environment they grow up in that makes them excel in events like the marathon?
I understand this is a bit of a controversial topic, but I just wanted to know the scientific reason behind the excellence of black athletes in most athletic events.
