I have serious reservations about all of these points. If the Pakistani government were truly pragmatic enough to think along these lines, the country would not be in the situation it is in today.

Soon after the start of Trump’s second term, Munir reportedly handed over the alleged mastermind behind the 2021 Kabul airport bombing, which took place during the US evacuation from Afghanistan. He also praised Trump for stopping tensions with India and even nominated him for a peace prize. At a time when Trump was facing limited success in his global tariff disputes, this support from Pakistan appeared politically useful.

Pakistan has also reportedly offered access to its critical minerals, which the US considers a matter of national security. In September 2025, Pakistan’s Frontier Works Organisation—the country’s major state-linked mining entity operating under military oversight—signed a $500 million investment deal with a US company. The ceremony took place at the Prime Minister’s House, with Munir in attendance.

Then, in January, Pakistan signed an agreement with an affiliate of World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency venture co-founded by Trump and his family. This deal could potentially integrate its stablecoin into Pakistan’s digital payment system, further strengthening ties with Trump’s business and political network.

So under president Trump, Pakistan has let go all its ideologies and become an outpost of USA in Sub continent just like how Israel is in middle east.

Another thing to notice, the moment he’s not allowed to dominate by shouting, he completely shuts down. There’s no depth, no real counterargument, his whole style hinges on being the loudest voice in the room. You see the same pattern with many Hindutva voices online, it works when they’re shouting at Pakistanis or even fellow Indians, but the moment they’re up against a broader, more neutral audience, that approach falls flat. Others don’t engage in a shouting match, they just let the noise speak for itself.

A lot of what critics call “godi media” seems to operate on that same principle, volume over substance. Once the volume is taken away, there isn’t much left to carry the argument.
