Why aren't Day-Night Tests being hosted by countries apart from Australia?

We have been talking about day-night tests is one of the solutions to attract test cricket.
But honestly only Australians are hosting day night tests,to a further extend Pakistan in U.A.E(maybe India will host in future)
But rest of teams have only host 1 test in their countries respectively (excluding Zimbabwe and Bangladesh)and Srilanka is yet to host a day night test.

What are your thoughts?

Australia used to have a good Pink Ball formula - green pitches to compensate for the lack of spin and seam and reverse swing.

In the UAE and Elsewhere it’s just a boring batfest - and also in Australia since they saved the grass off.

They will gain popularity in india in the near future. Bcci is always slow in adopting new things.

Pakistan were looking to host a day night test against Bangladesh but they refused.

I am not aware about any formal proposal of a D/N Test by PCB - not sure where you got that refusal part. BCB played a D/N Test 3 months back at Kolkata, don't see any reason why it would be refused at Karachi? Please don't quote random news from PAK media - is there any press release from PCB or BCB? I am not aware, because personally I think D/N Test suits BD team better than Day Test on dead, batting belters.

I believe, SAF arranged one D/N Test also (ZIM), and it ended like in two days :(

I think, the concept of D/N Test is still new, boards are not confident about it. Unless it's a financial significant advantage, arranging D/N test doesn't make much sense. Every country has facilities these days to arrange D/N Tests, but not sure if it's necessary.

In ENG & NZ, summer day light stays past 9PM, therefore unless they start Test at 6 PM (means end at 2:30 AM), it's a Day Test with few overs under light - for that pink ball will be a problem. In South Asia, I don't suggest D/N Test during winter simply because of the dew - it'll kill the spin advantage. Also, unless wickets in general in South Asia are low and slow, unless we change it to AUS like hard & cracked wickets, D/N Tests in south Asia with Pink ball might become too dull. Few years back, PCB D/N QEA Final at NSK, sometimes in late 2016 (that famous Mo Asif game) - after first innings collapse, Habib Bank posted 485/1d in second innings ......

Eventually, we'll have to think about covered stadiums in South Asia, if we are serious about D/N Tests. Also, that Pink Ball needs up-gradation, if it's to serve as an all condition ball, for all types of bowlers.

BCB chief Choudury said that they did not want to. His quote is in this article.

"We have spoken with our team management and they are not ready to play a day-night Test at the moment, due to lack of preparation," Nizamuddin Chowdhury, the BCB chief executive, was quoted as saying by Dhaka Tribune.

Thanks. May be the offer was sent too late, otherwise I don’t see any reason not to play D/N Test.
