Why do wives nag? Some things just are...they don't really need more of an explanation...why is water wet and not dry?
As a Bangladesh fan, I recognize and will admit that we are an irksome bunch. But why are we so annoying? I attempt to give an honest answer - possibly a justification. There is no better time than now - right after what must surely be the greatest win in Bangladesh's relatively short history.
Firstly, Bangladeshis have it in their genes. We're from an irksome neighborhood with an irksome history. We were born of Pakistan and before than India - who are the next most annoying fanbases in all of sports after the Royal Bengal Tigers. In fact, if it weren't for the silverware...no one would be able to tell the difference between the three.
Secondly, you have to view it as Bangladeshis view it. For decades we've been ridiculed for our ineptitude on the cricket field. One can only tolerate it a few hundred times before turning into the very monster he/she loathes. We're not worthy of playing the game, and ought to be thankful to the Indians and Pakistanis for letting us play. But isn't that your fault for letting a bunch of arrogant ingrates into the room? You can't ask someone to sit down and then complain about the butt dent they leave on your couch.
Thirdly, we are constantly disregarded. We can't win in those conditions or he's only done well against those teams. But the same isn't applied to other teams because they once won a World Cup 10 years ago or they had legendary players 30 years ago.
