Why did Hindus become Islamophobic?

Your question in OP is open ended asking why Hindus become Islamophobic. Phobia is born out of circumstances that they experience in this earth and no one is born with it. So incidents like Nashik or Delhi is a reason for their growing phobia towards muslims. Some of it is sub conscious but you really cant blame them for it.

In hindutvaland the media is using every negative story around Muslim individuals and amplifying to tar the whole community. Are they doing the same for hindutva zealots?

You and I know that is not the case otherwise you would be screaming blue murder, same as you do about the threads on PP.

I don't know how many times I have to explain this to you then. We have both agreed that there are bad apples in both communities. If there no difference in how they are reported or portrayed in the media, then what you should be saying is that there is no Islamophobia. But every Indian is in fact justifying Islamophobia in this thread.

I am not following your line of arguement at all. Though I dont agree its few bad apples....its rather an entire apple cart but that is aside the point. Lets accept it its a few bad apples for this arguement. Few bad apples are enough to cause phobia among people. So it clearly answers the question you are asking in OP i.e "Why have Hindus become Islamophobe". The answer is due to incidents like Nashik, Delhi, Rajasthan, Ankit Sharma etc etc.

I have a suspicion that you have no genuine interest in getting an answer and this is yet another thread created to diss hindus. If that is the case, I have no issues...I will leave this thread. I am trying to keep this thread on track without being judgemental but all I am getting in reply is stories of individual cases or posters attempting to get personal. Obviously I won't indulge them because I want to keep the thread impersonal. If anyone read the OP and attempted to answer from that perspective it would make it a more useful exercise. Heck, I might even agree with them if they could present a decent case.

Why are Hindus hostile to Islam above all other beliefs? I don't see Sikhs, Christians or Buddhists building an organised opposition to Islam in the same way over a sustained period of time.
