Why did Pakistan not appeal for Virat Kohli's obstruction of field during Pakistan vs India match in Champions Trophy 2025?

In the last ball of the 21st over, after completing a quick single, Virat Kohli stops the throw coming in with his hand. Strictly speaking, that's obstructing the field. India took out Inzamam-ul-Haq that way in an ODI once. Nobody appealed. Maybe because he had made his ground. And then apologised for his brainfade.(from CricInfo)?

Is Rizwan even aware of the rules?

Tbh it’s a non issue IMO

Ball wasn’t heading towards stumps. Seen plenty of players just handle the ball and give it to the bowler

Sometimes I wonder if they even know which way to hold a cricket bat let alone the laws of the game

It wouldn’t have been in the spirit of the game if Pakistan appealed for that

He’s talking specifically about the captain here. We are not sure he understands the game at all so it’s not really about the entire team here.

I didn't see him apologize. In fact he cost India a run as there was no one backing up. It was a brainfade that they should have at least appealed for, whether or not he'd have been given out considering he was well within the crease.

At least he'd have felt a little wary that he wasn't floating in a tub of love and awe.

Even if Kohli got out like this, it wouldnt have made a difference, the game was lost after our 1st innings total haha

Even this was a legit. case, I doubt Rizwan knows the laws of the game well enough to appeal for this
