I have long thought the answer to this question. A chucker doesn't grow on trees and suddenly comes in to international cricket. Every cricketer plays a lot of cricket in various levels, and then they are selected to play International cricket.
What baffles me is that a chucker plays so much cricket right from his school days, and yet no one is able to identify that there is a problem with his action? It's only possible when everyone turns a blind eye to his action and he is drafted to international cricket, and then his action comes under scrutiny.
I honestly believe that chucking is blatant cheating, and such bowlers should be asked to remodel their action right when they are at the grassroots level.
I was watching videos over youtube today of some matches and saw Saeed Ajmal's action once again, and it absolutely repulsed me. And before anyone points a finger at me, I'll say that even Harbhajan Singh's action is dodgy. Pragyan Ojha's action was doggy as well, and he hasn't played international cricket since.
It's good that the ICC has finally took responsibility and started banned chuckers aka blatant cheats since the last few years.
Why do you think we see chuckers in international cricket? Do people not see what's blatantly obvious to us fans when those cricketers at at the grassroots level?
