Why does Pakistan keep selecting Yasir Shah in ODIs despite his repeated failures?

There was even a stat with the England player being unbeatable vs leg spin... so it makes less than zero sense to play Yasir.

He is just a terrible LOI bowler. Period. None of his deliveries threaten the bowler of even getting the chance of getting a wicket. You literally have to rely on the batters completely messing up their shot for Yasir to get a wicket.

And seeing how horrific Faheem has been with his bowling, hopefully both of them are out next match and Pakistan go with two of Amir/Hasnain/Junaid in the next match.

Can you ask Mickey about his attitude to spinners, in particular the perception he doesn't seem to value genuine spinners/doesn't view spinners as attacking options? Seems to view spinner as bowlers who should contain which seems out of step with the modern white ball game.

His treatment of Usama Mir during PSL was particularly surprising as (i) he is a legspinner and (ii) is handy with the bat.

OP is a fan of the same selector who keeps on selecting Yasir. Why don't you ask questions of Inzi? Yasir Shah selection is clearly political. Why isn't more made of the politics of this selection?

That's because the only other spinner selected is Imad on dry wickets which don't assist the quicks much it was unbelievable how another spinner wasn't selected in the squad.

It's amazing how Pakistan have so few spin options and don't have any pace allrounders either.

It was only like 4-5 years ago when spin was king around here with Ajmal/Hafeez/Afridi and other spinners were bowling opposition out and restricting them to 250 or less.
