Why does the last innings fear of run chases still exist when reverse swing doesn’t play a big role?

Why does the last innings fear of run chases still exist when reverse swing doesn’t play a big role?

Pardon me i don't have nice writing skills for threads title but my question is
Why still teams don't want to chase or we fans also don't want pakistan to bat 2nd so another team set target and Pakistan has to chase that target
I mean these things were valid before covid because back then bowlers used to shine ball for reverse swing
Nowadays there is not so much reverse swing
In my opinion this was also one of the reasons england chased target against Pakistan and west indies chased against England you only have to manage spin and first 20 overs of fast bowling that's it
So why still we want teams to bat first not 2nd

There is always a psychological pressure when you are batting last. Also, pitch is more used up.

Because the pitch is worn, and it’s always psychologically difficult to chase runs in a test match. It’s not like LO cricket where you know you have to get x runs at y rate in z overs. The fielding side can attack more too.

Its psychological but Pakistan can take that to a whole new level, remember that.
