Why does the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy have 4-day matches and not 5-Day games?

I understand that due to time constraints and a busy domestic schedule, the QEA is played on a 4-day match format. But I was of the view that to bridge the gap between international and domestic cricket, and to prepare cricketers for the challenges and standards of test cricket the QEA should be played as a 5-day format.

This will allow our cricketers to develop their techniques and to adjust fitness standards for the real thing. Views?

I agree 100%, the PCB should make domestic matches 5 days to give the boys a feel for what actual test cricket is like.

Exactly, and if you watch the QEA its very low intensity. Players having sips of water after every over, taking their time to get ready. PCB should make changes to enable the players to play as if they are playing actual test cricket.
