Yes and Hafeez played important knocks in all 3 innings.. while Babar was absent in the other two games.. played in only one..
Hafeezz scored more runs in the series...
for a guy who was getting bashed for playing in Babar's spot.. he's done much better than him despite playing at no.4
Haha you're funny. 32 off 50 is now an important knock. Not to mention he was saved by Shoaib Malik in his other two knocks while Babar won his team the match and in his failures didn't waste a gajillion balls.

Gajillion?? Hafeez played at a better strike rate than Babar in both games... meanwhile Babar played at a strike rate of 50 in the first game... but ofcourse that was Hafeez's fault too...
But there wasn't two games, there was 3. First you said Hafeez played important knocks in both, now you're talking about Babars 50 strike rate. I said he didn't waste balls, he only played 21 balls in his failure as opposed to Hafeez' 50. The only good innings Hafeez had was that finall 80 odd, which Malik managed to overshadow and actually finished it off. It's easy to just look at the final strike rate like you're doing but not looking at the actual inning itself. Anyone with half a brain would know that Hafeez' 88 was the worst 50+ of the series. Even there Malik managed a 140 strike rate 50.

Malik had dropped catches in both innings he played, should've been out on a zero in the first game... shouldn't have made his century in the second... was dropped twice in the game he made his century..
Babar was the best batsman in the second game, but besides that it was Hafeez who carried on the show while the guy played at a strike rate of 50

lol Malik was dropped well after the game was in a very comfortable position and haha Hafeez' with his 32 off 50 was definitely carrying the show! Not to mention his awful first inning score.. I've already said that the only good knock he played was in the 3rd match (which once again was outshone by Malik, like in the 1st ODI)

Ofcourse Babar always plays on a tough wicket... his average of 11 in Australia was proof of his struggles.. while the obviously easy wickets he batted in ODIs were groundbreaking for a Pakistani batsmen.. espeically when chasing a total of 350 or 370

With Babar, the only real criticism is that he plays for his 100 then finally opens up...and if that's what the criticism is for a young batsman, then he has got to be an amazing talent. It sucks for you doesn't it?.... knowing Babar is capable of breaking a lot of Pak batting records.

So if Babar is average because he cashes in on good ODI wickets, where does that leave Hafeez; who on the same pitch nicked off to 2nd slip in the 27th over. Who exactly are you comparing Babar with when you target him? If you are comparing him with Kohli, De Villiers, Smith, you'll always be disappointed my friend...
He comes off as a rather selfish batsman.. who is playing for his average rather than for the team..
