Why has Naeem Bukhari disappeared from the limelight?

This guy played a very crucial role in the Panama Case Victory and was heralded as a key catch for the PTI. I don't believe I have seen him in the media for a long time since that London Incident.

Has the PTI decided to keep an arms length distance from him?

I love Naeem Bukhari, I find him to be one of the best personalities in Pakistan. But that comment he passed to the CJP was a low-blow and inappropriate. I'd expect it from somebody with poor character, which is not what I associate Naeem Bukhari with.

What comment?

I wonder if it has something to do with his criticism on IK not distancing himself from Jahangir Tareen and giving the Lodhran Ticket to Ali Tareen?

He has been active even after the London incident, that's an itw from few days before the general elections, and some weeks before he had a show with Kamran Shahid as well, always an Insafian :

:)) :)) the man is incredibly hilarious. The anchor in an interview asked him "Are you Jealous of Nawaz Sharif and family given the wealth they have accumulated all these years?" and his response was priceless "What are you talking? Ganja" :)) :))

I salute his stance against CJP Iftikhar Chaudry and thought he was very unfairly treated by the media cause at that time you could not say anything about Chaudry without being labeled as anti-democracy and anti-justice. I guess the media which previously had shunned him has now embraced him back as he has started to toe a more mainstream and popular narrative.

Not to mention, the guy looks amazingly young and good looking for his age.

He’s 70 years old, believe it or not. I was watching one of his interviews from last year, and he said he was working on a six pack, and he was only half joking: he was perturbed by the fact that he had attended the funerals of eleven of his classmates, and he said he wasn’t yet ready to join them.

It must be the “Turkic” genes, hint hint wink wink saadibaba.

lol

Wow, he doesn't look 70 at all, more like mid 50's.

The guy appears full of life and gregarious, always laughing and joking around. Wonder how much role the mind plays in keeping one looking healthy and young. If any then I am doomed. With my negative attitude, perpetual boredom and disinterest in most things other than a tiny few and an overall nihilistic approach to life, it'll be a miracle if I make it to 50 or will look like a 70 year old if lucky enough to make it.

What is the guy up to? I miss his hilarious taunts against NS

I’ve met him twice. The first time, we were visiting Pakistan and had just landed in Islamabad. As was the tradition back then, all of our extended family was there to receive us. We noticed that Naeem Bukhari was there too, having tea with a friend before he left for the departure lounge. A cousin of mine, about ten at that time, fetched a spoon from a nearby table, walked up to him, held the spoon up to his face, and asked him to pretend it was a microphone. He proceeded to conduct a little interview, asking all manner of questions. Naeem Bukhari happily played along, answered all the questions with his trademark joie de vivre, giving my cousin all his attention.

That cousin is now in his thirties, married with kids of his own, but he remembers that day fondly, as we all do.
