You will be surprised how big and strong they are.Again you're not making a point unique to India. Labourers exist all around the world and come in all shapes and sizes.

It must be the new generation , previously they were short and not physically strong .Better physical development
Physically Stronger especially people from punjab, Tamil Nadu, andhra, haryana and also places like bihar have some really strong people there
Better fitness training
And strength and powerIndian batsmen especially Mumbai, Karnataka players are usually technically very very sound due to sound coaching at a very age. Delhi , Pujnab players have more fire, juzbaa (Sehwag, Gambhir, Dhawan, Kohli, Yuvraj). Hyderabad players have a lot of flair (Jaisimha, Azharuddin, Laxman). There are some cultural difference in batting approach within India. TN players have some tough mentality.
The thing is all about diet, how you grew up, what you are exposed to and how much physical activity and development you did early on.It must be the new generation , previously they were short and not physically strong .
Guys like Sehwag rely on bat speed. Rohit relies largely on timing. Optimum contact. And strength and power
Viru hand-eye coordination was simply the best , which allowed him to Play shots with minimal foot work.Guys like Sehwag rely on bat speed. Rohit relies largely on timing. Optimum contact.
How would you know?Viru hand-eye coordination was simply the best , which allowed him to Play shots with minimal foot work.![]()
Talking about new gen playersGuys like Sehwag rely on bat speed. Rohit relies largely on timing. Optimum contact.
Without power there is no way they can hit the ball that far. There is a reason why Chahal and Kuldeep can’t hit 6s. You need timing plus power. You are seriously underestimating rohits natural power. Olympic lifters look fat ish in higher weight classes, but it doesn’t mean they dont have power.Guys like Sehwag rely on bat speed. How would you know ??? , It was quite obvious , everyone knew about it.How would you know?
Again, none of this makes Indians physically stronger than any other nationality, other than that your point does make sense. The thing is all about diet, how you grew up, what you are exposed to and how much physical activity and development you did early on.
If you are exposed to hard labour/ tough work like construction/building/concreting/furnniture removalist, process work that involves moving big boxes etc, sand digging, digging in general
Early on then you have a massive advantage. As that strength will carry through for life.
Also if you join wrestling or weight lifting programs early on then it may carry through like in American schools.
Every nationality has plenty of weak people and plenty of strong peopeAgain, none of this makes Indians physically stronger than any other nationality, other than that your point does make sense.
Also Pakistani food is extremely tasty. So I can totally understand the urge to indulge in Pakistani cuisine. But unfortunately that type of diet is not optimal for sport or physical strength in general.Again, none of this makes Indians physically stronger than any other nationality, other than that your point does make sense.
