What's new

Why is Salman Ali Agha considered a modern T20 hero compared to Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan?

You need to bat well. Saying the word "intent" doesn't make you a great cricketer. I cannot only expect comments from experts like you who want Asif Ali to be Captain lol
So then “bat well” and show us how it’s possible to chase 200 without “intent” as you guys mock 🤡

You should go and watch some RizBar highlights. They have done it a couple of times.

It seems we have consensus that Agha is not suitable for T20s let alone Captaincy. Let's see 2 more games to go

Babar has scored 31 international 100s, he must have done something right. Coming to tulla kaptaan, he strikes at 109 and doesn't bowl. Chews gum like Viv Richards but plays worse than Mushfiqur Rahim.
So an incorrect appointment gives Babar the leeway to play like a complete noob now?

Read on Twitter that the dropped catch was due to dew etc etc. The excuses don’t end for your hero do they?

Salman and Babar both should be thrown out of the team. Stop bringing in past records, Babar is a shadow of the average player he once was. Now he is below average and will hurt the team’s chances in this form of the game.

Babar fans hanging onto their dream boy by bringing in Salman in every post. News flash - no one wants Salman in the team either.

Throw them both out of this team, they don't deserve to play T20 cricket.

Agha knows his limitations.

Babar is just a mediocre stat padder.

Rizwan doesn't know his limitations.

All of them are bad to be honest.

Salman comes across as a selfless cricketer unlike selfish & self centered Babar & Rizwan.
Well there have been many greats of the game who were selfish. Look at your own Sachin.

A cricketer must be judge on abilities and performances. RizBar are miles ahead of Agha specially in T20s.

You are comparing Babar-Rizwan with Sachin:ROFLMAO:

Great going.

By this standard... Salman should join them too..along with khushdil and hussain talat... Move on bro.
Why should he join them if he was scouted to be the sensible man who puts the team first?

He’s doing that job correctly. PUTTING THE TEAM FIRST!

You people historically made Pakistan cut of their nose to spite the face by forcing Sarfaraz, a successful captain out…

You want to repeat the same mistake? You love to play fool me twice??

Salman playing himself at number 4 with 100 strike rate just so he can elongate his inning a bit and playing Hasan nawaz at 6-7... And he is putting TEAM FIRST...

WHAT A JOKE
Babar could have done the same, bat at 3 with a sr of 120-150….no issues. Should have realised his duty

Rizwan could also have done the same. Bat at 5-6 and push for a 130-160 sr….build partnerships with the lower order. Quick cameo/impact runs…. No problem

They could produce the same results as Agha has done so far as T20 captain and they will be acceptable….

But they didn’t do that did they???

One of the stupidest arguments is to say Rizwan and Babar are more about the team first than Agha is.

It’s an absolute joke! Pakistan fans who think like this are part of the problem!

Dumb response. I was talking about selfishness and Sachin is right up there when it comes to selfishness
You did justify Babar and Rizwan’s selfishness to Sachin’s

Which is as dumb to even begin with.

That’s your viewpoint, maybe because he wasn’t from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Sachin’s strike rate was better than that of any Pakistani batter of his era, including Saeed, Inzamam, Ijaz, and Yousuf. Whereas Babar and Rizwan are slower than every Indian batter of his era.

You are missing the point which you often do. We are not discussing strike rates, batting averages, or the number of fours and sixes scored. Our focus is on the issue of selfishness. Given that you were born after Sachin Tendulkar retired, it might be challenging for you to fully grasp the essence of what I'm trying to convey. Nonetheless, let's not dwell on this. Please focus on your priorities as I have mentioned before. We have enough posters on this forum who post anti RizBar stuff all day every day.
