I think people are reacting to your thread rather than introspecting.
There is no doubt that Babar is a very good batsman in a lot of ways. He is solid at the crease, plays proper cricketing shots and has good hand-eye coordination.
In fact, I think if you had made the comparison between Babar and pre-2012 Rohit Sharma, a lot of posters would have instantly agreed with you.
And I think there is a parallel to be drawn there. Both pre-2012 Rohit and Babar make/made beautiful looking 30s and 40s and then threw their wickets away.
Clearly Babar hasn't yet learnt the art of managing pressure.
Will he do that in the future? I don't know. But I hope he does because he certainly is very good to watch for any cricket lover.
But until he does, I think the criticism you have made is justified.
