Will Azhar, Hafeez and Malik be dropped, for the next series? If so, who should replace them?

First question is, will they be dropped?

As far as I can see, Azhar will become the scapegoat.

Hafeez will clear his bowling and make a comeback.

Shoaib, I am not so sure. He's in the good books of Mickey, due to his fitness, work ethic, and minnow bashing.

If they all are replaced (which I don't see happening), then these guys should be brought in(if they have a good psl).

Tallat(IU)- Hafeez
Maqsood(MS)/ Akmal Jr , as a back up keeper(LQ)- Malik

Hafeez and Malik are not going anywhere until the 2019 WC. A sad state of affairs! Azhar probably will be made to only play tests as how Shafiq does.

Azhar can be dropped... But hafeez had a good ODI series for his defense making slow n selfish fifties...Anyway their next series is after 6 months, so i dont see anyone getting dropped...

I see the following changes in the next series...

Shehzad coming in for Azhar
Imad in for nawaz
Junaid khan in for Rumman

Sadly no place for others , even if they do very well in PSL because it is how it will be in PCB and PCT

Mickey Arthur has already made it clear that he doesn't want Hafeez. Not sure where he stands on Malik.

Azhar will be dropped. I doubt Malik and Hafeez will get the axe. The professor did enough to keep his place as far as selectors are concerned and Malik will be there because:"we need experienced cricketers..".

I'd like another hard hitting opener to partner Fakhar but knowing the selectors and the way our a ex-cricketers think the thought will give them nightmares. We'll hear the usual:"aap ko steady player ki zaroorat ha", " we need players to see off the new ball" etc. Likely Shehzad will replace Azhar.

Talat, Saad and Maqsood i think stand out as replacements. I really want to see saad ali in internationals, hes been doing incredibly well in domestic for a while and is pretty young too.

I dont think malik will be kicked out the squad yet. Azhar im pretty sure is gone and hafeez if the reports are true about problems between him and coach, will be gone too.

I think Azhar Ali will. I think Malik and Hafeez will be retained unless they both have an awful PSL
