Will Indian team boycott matches against Pakistan in Asia Cup 2025 and T20 World Cup 2026?

Not sure where this newfound confidence of @Devadwal is coming from about winning the match. T20s Between India and Pakistan have been very close encounters since 2022

@Devadwal was absent for first 10 overs during Pakistan’s batting last year and when Pakistan was doing well , @Devadwal came up with this post 😂😂😂

ik no one believes a single word that comes out if his mouth

I joined the forumn in 2021 but only made 2 to 4 comments from 2021 to 2023, this was because I was focused in finishing my bachelor degree.

Masters degree is easier as its more research oriented hence I could start commenting on PP again.

When I came on PP in 2023 I made it clear that I was living in Sydney at the time and that I enjoyed cricket in general. While I enjoy Australian cricket the most

I like commenting on SENA and Pakistan as a whole. At that time I onpy commented on Pakistan on PP as I was busy talking about other cricket related topic on reddit forumns however truth be told PP is 100x superior then reddit for cricket realted discussions so I eventually moved here full time and decided to cover SENA cricket as I felt SENA was not being represented here and only india and Pakistan was.

Before I interacted with @Devadwal I had already interacted with many pp posters and made it clear that Australia was my favourite team bit since Australia isnt a part of asia cup I will support Pakistan

Lastly I stated I refuse to support Pakistan as long as rizwan is a part of the team. Now that rizzu is gone, im happy to support the t20 side win or lose.

Regardless i am clearling this up one last time, not that it makes a difference as devadwal's reputation as a time traveller and his legendary elephant quote is their for everyone to see.

During the Asia Cup 2023 you support Pakistan and but when India smashed Pakistan you said I'm living in australia so from now on I'll support Australia 😂😂😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡

I don't think there's any logic to be found in what India or India's representatives have been doing.

One week they're going all-out to boycott the WCL and Diljit, next week the government is saying it's all good play them in a mid-tier tournament to supposedly look good for an Olympics bid.

They've made a mockery of their own victims.

Never supported any sort of boycott in cricket coz it was not feasible.

Even if we didn't play in this Asia cup what would happen in t20 wc next year? What if both team qualifies for final? Are we going to give walkovers then and give them easy victories?

Just play against them and beat them, that's the best way ahead
 
That’s what a self-contradictory narrative does to your brain. Some Indian posters (they know who they are) have become nothing more than BCCI bots. Not being great ambassadors of their country on this forum tbh.

BCCI could have hosted the tournament in India and Asked Pakistan to visit. this would have been test of PCB and their Stance if India was worried about Multi Lateral Engagement. Asia cup could have stil gone ahead without Pak Participation according to Indians on this forum. Why did BCCI go out of the way , Shift the tournament to accommodate Pak? Surely PCB is bound to get big chunk of Indian Sponsorship money

BCCI themselves cant scrap Asia cup. if you start scrapping tournaments and disband Asian council , It just reduces BCCI influence

India refused to visit Pakistan in CT25, it only makes sense that Pakistan will follow suit.

When a settlement was reached to host Indian matches outside Pakistan in CT25, I am quite sure PCB would have asked ICC to ensure the same thing for when they play in a tournament hosted by India.

BCCI hosted this fully outside India cos this is not as big as ICC tournaments and making such irregular arrangements for Asia cup didn't make sense. I

ICC has nothing do with Asia Cup and any arrangement given by them only applies to ICC tournament. Pretty Sure BCCI did nt commit anything outside ICC tournaments

Point is that if Pak refused which was likely , that would be good for India would nt it be? They would nt have to make any sort of call.
BCCI could simply say its upto PCB and if they refuse to travel , PCB could be replaced Just like Hockey Asia cup

This goes beyond the realms of Cricket too - no other country has forced India to run around like a headless chicken. If it's not a begging bowl in cricket, it's a surrender in politics.

In my view, Modi must remain in power for a more stable and brighter future in the subcontinent. 😎

If there is a format that ever numbs skills sets or reduces the gap between skills sets, it is T20...anything can happen.
am not in favor of the gung ho indian supporters....sometimes i think they are a tad over confident....
All of us remenber, ....152/0 - dew-buy or not ...good game to the opposition....who knows - if a repeat can happen...
Realistically speaking any team or player on the day who playes with daleri jigra and outside his comfy zone can single handedly take game away from oppostion.
Hope for a good match and tournament...where we discuss the skills and skills only....on display....and all the background fluff ....takes a back seat...
