QDK is overdue and so is AB.

Should be a classic.

Who do you think will handle the pressure?
 
I think South Africa will come firing all cylinders especially ABD and Amla.
 
Super Sunday coming up. Ind vs SA should be a classic!
I have a bad feeling SA might win this and knock India out, AB is due a big one.
 
Someone please remove choke word out of this thread. Tired of hearing this word many times. If india gets to chase against them then india will will otherwise it wud not be easy like today. I hope pitch offers atleast something to bowlers our batsman will anyway score around 300 even its super road or decent wicket...But if its superroad like today you might see 400 something against us.

Let's be honest though, we are known chokers. I accept that. If some people show a bit more faith it might not be the situation for long. This might even be the last time we get to see so many great South African players in a tournament match. They have to show up, they simply have to.
 
QDK loves India very much, I'm afraid He and AB might have a special gift for the Indian Team.
 
If the match is played on a flat road then SA will win hands down. If it has something in it for the bowlers then it could get interesting.
 
AB looks in choking mood, how he got out to a bowler like Imad, Ab is playing like Ashrafool. India will walk all over Protesfire

If AB wins the toss, he needs to bowl first, otherwise Kohli will probably repeat his T20 WC 2014 innings against them.

South Africa will not bat so bad again. It will go down to how India bat against the SA bowling attack.

India were beaten more comprehensively so I'm making SA favourites for this one.

I am fairly sure it will be a SA win as I have never seen SA feeling in two games in a row.

Mouth watering contest though with lot at stakes here and with rest of the world supporting SA.
 
Qdk special is almost there to come as he loves Indian bowling and has done nothing of worth yet in CT till now.

AB and kohli battle will be interesting. It will be a thriller given one of them will be out of the tournament.
 
India will be kicked out of the CT.

Tuk Tuk Masters will be exposed again. Don't deserve to be in Semis.
 
Last time IND-SAF in a series decider was one sided to SAF, but they won the toss & batted on an absolute road.

I think, Sunday match will be played on a fresh wicket, which is probably going to be 333 per track. May be, IND should drop both Umesh & Bumrah to bring Shami & Ash - don't see this attack to dent SAF's batting. IND's new ball bowling is far better than old ball bowling, but SAF's opening pair is best in world now. Only chance I see is to get SAF spun out on a faster Oval track.
 
SA will probably choke and collapse chasing a mediocre score.
 
Amla will finally deliver, de Villiers will either not play or fail, and Kohli will play well but it won't be enough to prevent a loss.
 
SA need either Amla , De Kock or AB to fire . One of these three has to play long innings , with some others revolving around him.

Morkel needs to start the proceedings at least 3 overs up front from him.
 
Choke is out of equation this time!! Only one thing is in the mind! Destroy India!! Protea fire!!

India need a big performance from Kohli. Would draft Shami and Ashwin in as well.

South Africa need AB to fire, here is his chance to win a big icc tournament match. Same with Amla. Agree with justcrazy that Morkel should be used upfront.


Think India will edge it but hoping for a South African win.
 
Saffers gonna choke big time. If they choked against PAK when they had no pressure at all how are they gonna handle a tense knockout game with 99% Indian crowd. This is the best chance for Ind none of their bowlers except an old Tahir and old Morkel are in form.

Pak softened SA for India now they surely will win.

I'm going with England vs Pakistan and Australia vs India. England to beat Pakistan and Australia to beat India.

Australia to beat England in the final.
 
Its really interesting and exciting! AB shouldn't put Kohli into chasing as he wont fail twice in a row thats for sure. But if SA chase they will most probably choke under pressure.

I've got a feeling it will be a tough competition between the two teams but India will have the edge as they can handle pressure better.
 
Choking means when a stronger team loses,here India may choke being the stronger team,like they did against Sri Lanka
 
I personally don't think Kohli is as good a captain as he is made out to be. Today everything about his body language in the field sucked
 
It will be an easy win for India, that's the only way we can see long awaited Pakistan-India final in an ICC tourney.

We too don't rate his captaincy but rather his batsmanship. If it were for him we would have lost the home series to Australia.

He had a shocking IPL as well. His attitude and personality is such, he will get into a lot of conflicts with his team mates.

Match predictions are your Achilles heal more often then not you get them completley wrong unless its something very obvious like Pakistan playing in Australia.
 
I think Saffers will win. DeVilliers will play a key role OR Rabada will strike form.
 
India are tiny favourites because of South African choking history. But if both teams play to potential then South Africa is in top due to better bowling attack. Indian tuk tuk start will be self defeating in this case

Pakistan have more upper hand in their game if everyone turns up on match day, but will they keep their nerves intact?

Nope bumrah is not getting dropped, he's the best death bowler in the world, and not sure if ashwin will find a place either, Shami will most definitely comeback in place of yadav or kumar
 
Bumrah is the best death bowler we have. Can't drop Kumar because on one of these days, it will swing big time in England. Then Yadav has to be dropped for Shami because only reason Yadav is there is to provide some shock value with his pace and late swing. Otherwise everybody knows he is too inconsistent and wayward. Ashwin for Jadeja - Not sure Kohli will do it.
In batting, most important change should be Jadhav batting ahead of MSD and Yuvi. While both of them are making big runs now, they are also mistiming and getting beaten too often. I predict if they get to face some high class pace from Rabada and Morkel at the start of their innings, they will get out cheaply. Our best bet is having them in last ten overs or so without any pressure.

Don't go by past reputation, their batting is very unstable, their pace attack is best in the world, if their bowling doesn't click against england then they will be knocked out even before the semis

India will win the game without a doubt they are wonderfull players of pressure games and SA is just the opposite.
 
Shami in for Yadav and that should be it. Jadhav should come before Dhoni as he doesn't use up many balls like Dhoni. If we win, we must chase. I don't think we can do to well if we bat first vs Rabada and Morkel in the early start. Batting second also gives our bowlers advantage in bowling.

It's not about averages, he's already won us a few games from impossible situation by bowling great death overs, he literally saved just 6 or 5 runs (don't remember) against england in the last over to win us the match, he's has bowled exceptionally well in death overs in almost all the matches he has played whether domestic or international, you'll soon see how great of death bowler he is.

I think hes as good as anyone in the death overs , but these conditions are not for him . Is more effective on dry SC pitches , SA and Aus . Eng and NZ is where I feel he will struggle , cos his normal bowling lenght without much swing is easy picking here
 
South Africa will have a better chance of winning if they chase. ABD is a horrendous captain and will hand India the match if India bat second no matter how big the target.

The match can end in three ways

1) South Africa thrashing India
2) India winning with moderate difficulty
3) South Africa getting close but choking at the end

Kohli would score a fifty maybe. ABD will either score a hundred or get out cheaply. Not sure about QDK
 
Both ABD and Kohli scored Zero in their last match .... so fasten seat belts !!!! There is going to be some ODI match when they face each other next !!!!!
 
I'm unnervingly confident for some bizarre reason that South Africa will win. I can only put it down to a hunch that De Villiers will play a decisive knock for once. Pretty disturbing given that I am not the fella's biggest fan in the world.
 
AB is due a huge one. SA is due a huge one to get rid of the chokers tag, but also Kohli is due a big one as well.

I feel the law of averages may catch up and dhawan and rohit might fail, kohli will score and so will ABD.

Here is what will decide the game. The toss. They will both put the opposition in. If India chases, a Kohli master class will see them to a victory. SA has to bowl first to win.

If they bat first they will need something like 375 to be sure of a win in my opinion.


It's going to be a humdinger though. In ODI competitions, I have noticed the games might get boring but we are only a few upsets away from making the whole thing pretty desirable to watch.

Yes, me too since South Africa always win whenever Amla scores a century batting first.
