Is Bengal included as a southern state? I find it all quite confusing, but as you all know I have long been a passionate supporter for the reunification of Bengal, but maybe they should have their own state.

No one wants Bengal -- neither South, not North. Rest of India would be more than happy to release them to integrate with Bangladesh. Good riddance to bad commie rubbish.

This is utter nonsense and false info. Kerala has 100% literacy rate and is most likely a richer state than any other due to its attractive tourist locations like the backwaters that foreigners all over the world come to see. Aside from that people all over the world come to Kerala for Ayurvedic treatments. Also the malayalees who are the majority Indians working in the Middle East continue to throw money back into Kerala. If anything every other state needs to come to Kerala to see how all religions live in harmony over there. Hindus, muslims Christians you name it. If only the other states took a leaf from Kerala and could emulate what Kerala has done from all fronts.

Capital city can be a heads up between Mumbai and Bangalore.

The country can be called a crisp "Dakshin", with the following states included: Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, and we get to keep Gujarat as well. And how can I forget Goa and Pondicherry?

The northern borders of the frontier states can be sealed off with a wall built for good measure. As for the rest of you, have fun in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and continue with your pointless fight in Kashmir.

Germany and Bengal is as illiterate a historical analogy as it gets. Germans did not kill a million Germans when they split into two countries.
