Honestly, time and time we've seen Pakistan lose crucial matches with the same "senior" players not performing. But we learned nothing from those defeats and went in playing 2 37+ year olds who don't particularly have a great record in England and look what happened. I hope this is the end of "senior" players first culture in Pakistan and we focus on developing younger players for 1-2 years and if they perform keep them, but if they don't drop them. Despite what anyone says about Mickey Arthur, he is leaving this Pakistan team with an exciting core of young players who can take Pakistan to new heights if they stay hungry and focused. I was watching Misbah's interview on cricinfo and he was against selecting Shaheen Afridi because according to him he lacked experience for the wc stage and look how he performed. Even though I liked Misbah alot as a captain, but if he were still in charge our line up would've had experienced shahzad, umar akmal and other ttfs.
