Polio vaccines and all other vaccines we are used to from childhood are a different animal compared to the covid vaccines particularly the mrna ones
The way Pfizer and co. were pushed by the media was weird. Reports of people having reactions after AZ and then Pfizer were blocked on social media in the initial days as fake news. Later it transpired that indeed many people had adverse including fatal reactions to the Mrna vaccines
There are many countries where a minor % of the population received covid vaccines. People there are hardly dying of covid at a higher rate than countries with high % of vaccination.
Almost half of America is unvaccinated, are people who are unvaccinated catching covid at a higher rate than those who took it?
Also the messaging has been alarmist and hyperbolic
In the initial days the message pushed was get vaxxed to avoid catching covid, later found out as compeletely untrue
Then there were messages from MSM saying take the vax to avoid transmission, again complete ** and was called out by many people. Now we see many corporations including Google remove covid vax as a requirement to enter or work as it is known that getting vaxxed has nothing to do with transmission
Debate is allowed by western MSM on every topic including incest. But the way any debate on Pfizer was shut down showed it was all about money
And the same Pfizer funded media went after AZ in the earlier day (as it was a competitor)
I believe that COVID was politicized so much it ended up red hot ridiculous mess. It was an unprecedented situation, human beings had not come across before and it up-ended the entire planet.
I remember when it hit the USA and people starting falling like flies, nobody wanted to believe it here or in other countries and they all became suspicious that USA was upto something big and nasty. This set the tone for whatever was to follow, the vaccines, the lockdowns, the mask mandates, etc. There has been this theme of distrust, subterfuge, etc throughout the whole thing. Then those who politicize it, politicized it and those who fall for it hook line and sinker, fell for it hook line and sinker.
All you had to do was use some common sense and look deeper:
1. The pandemic did happen, it was real and not some false propaganda spread by the west (we know this now)
2. So far it has NOT been proven it is caused by a man-made virus. What we have is conjecture at best.
3. BUT.... in continuation of #2, if it was indeed a lab leak or a man-made virus, it came from China, so there is no reason to doubt that the vaccine makers in the west created the virus for profit. Therefore, there is no need to suspect any ulterior motives here of vaccine makers, other than perhaps they choose to make profits off it like any other business.
4. ALSO.... if it IS indeed man-made, there is without doubt more of a need to protect yourself with a vaccine because your natural immunity wont protect you against it that well. Because a lab manufactured genetically engineered virus will be designed to bypass your standard immunity systems.
5. The messaging around vaccines and masks was totally garbled by the experts and that created a massive distrust of the authorities. I find it highly doubtful there were any malicious motives behind it. The medical and scientific community faced an unprecedented situation and their conclusions and recommendations were driven by the data provided which changed continuously. So they were left fumbling and struggling while justifying their previous stance if it was proven incorrect by the new stats. This created an air of suspicion and the political factions around the world used them to launch attacks against the ruling parties/sitting governments. IN some cases, it worked in reverse where the sitting government attacked the scientific and medical community (as in the case of the USA), BECAUSE they did not want the alarming messages being sent out scaring the people into complete and total lockdowns (because that would hurt the economy, and it actually did hurt the economy)
I believe the idea of lockdowns was to flatten the curve and in absence of the vaccine, it was needed. However, the lockdowns needed to go away after the vaccine was available. But the conspiracy theorizing sections of the world had a rollicking time through this whole thing. They started rattling out conspiracy theories one after another about how the vaccine does everything from killing you to altering your DNA to inserting a microchip in your bodies to ..... whatever. Unfortunately, no science is asbolute, and like any drug, it has side effects. Some of those ended in fatalities but the percentage of those fatalities is much much much smaller than the mortality rate of COVID, so if you just play the odds, taking the vaccine was the only viable option.
Refusing to take the vaccine is like refusing to drive a car because it has the potential to be in a traffic accident that can result in death. The mRNA nature of the vaccine has also created distrust, but if you truly want to believe the medical and scientific researc around hte world has an agenda and they are just out to get you, then unfortunately, I really cannot say anything in their defense. It is just an outright over reaction and height of suspicion. We rely on them for everything else such as basic vaccines and drugs for us and our children, minor and major surgeries use drugs from big Pharma all the time, we use painkillers, antacids, etc on a regular basis so it made no sense when people start suspecting the same people of some nefarious motives through the covid vaccine.
Anyhow, like others, this is just my opinion and view. Take it with a grain of salt, but I hope I shed some light on the reasons why people developed all the suspicions and why much of those suspicions have no grounding in reality.
