RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – A woman was killed as the Indian forces on Saturday resorted to indiscriminate firing at Kohi Rata sector of the Line of Control (LoC).

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian forces along LoC in Koi Rata sector killed a 60-year-old woman, who was a resident of Thandi Kassi village.

Pakistani troops effectively responded to the Indian aggression, the ISPR added.

The unprovoked ceasefires violations by the Indian forces have been along the Line of Control have been very common as the tensions flared up between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.

Moreover, the international bodies have continued to urge both countries to resolve their disputes through dialogue.
