Despite denying death of 250 soldiers in Operation Sindoor, India to now honour 100 of them

So many video clips and article confirming destruction of their jets and bases but these Bhakts are some next level delusional bunch. Perhaps stick to attacking Pakistan in Bollywood movies only because in reality your pathetic cowardness and epic humiliations on battlefields have become a norm

Five times Indian military officials admitted losses against Pakistan

These five admissions, spread over weeks and made by different branches of the Indian military, paint a clear picture: despite political attempts to downplay the conflict, India did suffer significant losses in the May 2025 clash with Pakistan. The officials’ remarks, though carefully worded, point to the IAF being caught off-guard and constrained — a reality India’s top brass can no longer deny.

1. Air Marshal AK Bharti: “Losses Are a Part of Combat”

On May 11, just a day after the ceasefire, Air Marshal AK Bharti, India’s Director General of Air Operations, made the first subtle admission. When asked about the fate of Indian aircraft during the brief war, he said, “Losses are a part of combat… All our pilots are back home.” While vague, it was the first public acknowledgment that the Indian Air Force (IAF) had suffered aircraft losses — even if the exact numbers were avoided.

2. General Anil Chauhan: “We Were Handicapped”
India’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan, went further during a May 31 interview at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore. Dismissing reports of six jets being shot down, he remarked, “What is important is not the jet being down, but why they were being down… That is more important for us.” Notably, he admitted that the IAF was “handicapped” in its flying operations for two days post-conflict — a direct contradiction to the government’s claims of full operational control and a hint at deeper damage.

3. Captain (IN) Shiv Kumar: “We Did Lose Some Aircraft”
On June 10, India’s Defence Attaché to Indonesia, Captain Shiv Kumar, made perhaps the most candid admission. Speaking at a Jakarta seminar, he said: “I may not agree that we lost so many aircraft, but I do agree we did lose some aircraft.” He blamed political constraints for limiting the IAF’s response and acknowledged that the losses occurred on May 7 — the very night Pakistan claims to have shot down six Indian jets. His remarks revealed a divide between military and political decision-making during the conflict.

4. Defence Secretary RK Singh: “Rafales in the Plural… Not Correct”
In a July 8 interview, Indian Defence Secretary RK Singh aimed to refute Pakistan’s claim about the downing of multiple Rafale jets. Yet, his phrasing — “You have used the term Rafales in the plural, I can assure you that is absolutely not correct” — essentially conceded that at least one Rafale may have been lost. Rather than a clear denial, the comment raised more questions and appeared to confirm part of the Pakistani narrative.

5. Lt General Rahul Singh: “Yes, But Pakistan Had Help”
Two months after the ceasefire, Indian Deputy Army Chief Lt General Rahul Singh went a step further and indirectly confirmed India’s military defeat. He claimed that Pakistan’s success was due to external help from China and Turkey — a view strongly rejected by regional analysts, who argue that Pakistan’s operational success was the result of independent planning and real-time intelligence. His comments, while defensive, acknowledged that Pakistan outperformed India in the brief war.

Brother, if Rafales were really meant for China and y’all actually believe that, then the current PR crisis is the least of your problems. That level of delusion needs its own airstrike.

Do yourself a favor, leave every WhatsApp group that isn’t about cricket. It’s the only battlefield where y’all still stand a chance without embarrassing yourselves globally.

Funny thing is your country has not even cricket to stand on

A military that has surrendered in 71 and has lost every war it fought and celebrates ceasfire as victory .LMAO hoping China beats India but ain't biting.

A IMF bailout country making fun of poverty in the fourth largest economy of the world..poverty is there but self awareness not there.

Making fun of the leader of largest democracy but doesn't realize us summons the army chief and not the pm of the country while the popular PM is awaiting death in jail

Commiting documented genocide in Bangladesh shedding test for Kashmir..ignoring plight of Uyghurs...standing beside Gaza and Iran while nominating their savior for Noble peace prize while Gaza supporters are bombed to oblivion .

Such is your state ..

Could you please elaborate on how the Rafale jets were intended to counter China?

China is a much more powerful country than India and though both China and India are responsible nations..fact of the matter is China enjoys a economic and military edge over India. It is only the Himalayas and the Malacca Strait that provides India with some natural advantages which nullifies a lot of Chinas dominance and ensures they cant do much in practice. Rafale s are needed to counter their almost exclusive fifth gen fleet although we need a fifth gen fighter to have a better chance..since we can't compete with cheap Chinese technology that is mass produced..we have to focus more on radars etc to counter that threat

But anyhow I am digressing..you need state of the art tech to counter an enemy that is better equipped than you not an enemy that depends on IMF bailout and used jf17 or old f16.. Sukhois even our old migs and mirages are enough as Balakot showed...

Now if we have brought Rafale to counter China why not use it against the proxy of China and get valuable real world exercise information....nothing says you can't use a plane that was brought for a different reason...

China is our rival..Paksitan is an irritant..who is kept on leash by China...we dont really care about Paksitan except for terrorism bit..no terrorism..then Paksitan does not exist for us..peaceful coexistence

"Show Me 1 Photo": Ajit Doval's Dare To Foreign Media On Op Sindoor Claims

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Friday slammed foreign media for their reportage of Operation Sindoor, challenging them to give proof of damage to Indian infrastructure by Pakistani strikes.

Addressing the 62nd convocation of IIT Madras, Ajit Doval talked about Operation Sindoor, where he highlighted the 'bias' of foreign media when it comes to covering India's interests. He said that Foreign media reported that "Pakistan did this and that" but images only show damage done by Indian Air Force on Pakistan's bases.

"Foreign press said that Pakistan did that and this. You tell me one photograph, one image, which shows any damage to any Indian (structure), even a glass pane having been broken. They wrote these things. The images only showed 13 air bases in Pakistan before and after 10th May, whether it was in Sargodha, Rahim Yar Khan, Chaklala." NSA Doval said.

"I am only telling you what the foreign media put out on the basis of images. We are capable of doing it (damage to Pakistani air bases)," he added.

On the intervening night of May 9th and 10th, the Indian Air Force with active support of other forces struck Pakistani Air Bases spanning the length and breadth of the country and in the process also, crippled their Chinese supported Air Defence systems.

Around 15 BrahMos missiles were fired by the Indian Air Force to target the Pakistan Air Force base with an aim of disrupting their ability to launch aircraft and other operations, sources in the Defence establishment told ANI.

Further speaking about the Operation Sindoor, Ajit Doval highlighted how Indian indigenous defence capabilities played a defining role during the conflict, urging the need to develop more indigenous technology.

"We have to develop our indigenous technology. Mention of Sindoor was made here. We are really proud of how much of indigenous content was there. We are proud of that some of the best systems were there, whether it was BrahMos missiles, whether it was our integrated air control and command system, whether it was our radars. We decided to have 9 terrorist targets in the criss-cross of Pakistan, it was not in the border areas. We hit nowhere else except that. It was precise to the point where we knew who was where. Entire operation took 23 minutes," Mr Doval said.

NSA Doval also emphasised that Artificial Intelligence is a "game changer" and India needs to make it a "focal point" in order to lead and develop.

"AI is one of the great game changers. AI will change the world at a rate of every year. It will become unrecognisable from everything we do today, and its application will be diverse, not only required for research and development, but also for machine learning, LLMs, defence, robotics, medicine, finance, and everything. If India is going to lead and develop, make it a focal point. This is the one area that we have to develop," he said.

Along with BrahMos missiles, the indigenously developed Akash surface-to-air missile air defence system has played a key role in thwarting Pakistani drone attacks targeting Indian assets.

Operation Sindoor was launched after Pahalgam terror attack to give a "befitting reply" to Pakistan for their terror-related activities. Indian Armed Forces destroyed nine terror infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in air strikes on May 7.

Following Pakistan retaliating, Indian Armed forces significantly damaged their air force bases on the intervening night of May 9th and 10tt, including Nur Khan base.

Later, a cessation of hostilities was agreed upon by the DGMOs of both countries.

I recommend Bhartiya posters to not engage in these fake-news dodgy threads started by the OP. This should have never seen 3 pages after the article source.

True everyone knows it's fake but it's still good for posterity for us to place the facts here ...in 4 to 10 years we will see the pakis admitting defeat like they always do ...
