World T20 2016 |Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 55 runs

we bowled poorly, so 200 was on the cards really. Our bowling just came off today, probably not expecting such a flat wicket at the Eden gardens

My problem is with you guys didn't bowled enough.

Its very tough to bat in eden gardens under light. I am seeing it like this since 1996 WC. Almost over for BD :)

Sabbir using some very good timing here with the bat.

Picks up the wicket of an out of form player = Best T20 pacer in the world

Pakistani fan logic.

TBH Pakistan is on an advantage here with a week long practice and a warm up game in eden gardens. They know the conditions well now.

This was exactly the opposite in 50 over world cup in Australia last year where India played all their practice matches in Adeliade before beating us ..

Wahab, Afridi will be murdered today unless we get Tamim or Shabbir early!!!

ofcourse we didn't.

Our bowlers weren't able to read the pitch correctly. Or more like, didn't bowl the right areas. Even if you are off-form like Shehzad and Hafeez, a ball on the pads is asking to be hit.

Credit to Pakistan, batted well. As for us, no excuses. Yes ublucky to miss out on Mustafiz and losing toss, but we are a professional side now and we should accept our failures

Lights are on already it seems I just noticed.

Yes and Eden Gardens is close to the river ganges. The tidal winds in the evening makes it tougher for batting under lights.

Eden out field is probably the fastest in world, along with Mirpur. But, probably they have reduced the field size during reconstruction of Eden.

But it dews heavily - almost impossible to defend par totals under light.

Good stuff from Amir, MashAllah. Should we give him one more over here or keep both for the death?

Good over by Amir, one ball little short and bit of width and spanked for 4, Wahab take a note, no width or short, back of length and wicket to wicket at pace!!

I think on the flip side spinners will find it difficult.

Admitting your team did not play well today this is true professionalism, your fellow bengalis should learn

Pakistani fast bowlers clearly superior than Bangladeshi ones.

Blessing in disguise. For a fast bowler, Years 19-24 is the age where body is most vulnerable to injuries.

Ask Pat Cummins.

Nah. Amir would've been fine. Whites are more prone to injuries due to lack of flexibility and longer torsos.

Bangladesh playing for NRR now good approach better to just make sure NRR isn't bad.

Even Oman restricted Tamim on 180 batting first so hopefully we can restrict them under 200!!!

they will target Imad and Afridi they are the weak links.

Dnt think there will be much dew in the month of march at kolkata though.

Actually it does. This match 'll be over before 8PM; but once I left for Subhash Chandra Airport at around 4 AM in mid March, the streets were rain like wet. But, not necessarily it dews that heavy every day.

Lol was this even a comparison ??? I can see how Bangladeshis would start this ridiculous comparisons but seeing some of my own countrymen making such assumptions was quite surprising to be honest

Lets see how he does in power play, lot depends upon his bowling well in first over(for rest of the tournament) !!!

Wahab should never be used with the new ball or in 1st 6 overs of a T20 hes always wayward... lets hope am wrong!

Not short and wide again :po:

Why he cannot bowl straight, wicket to wicket

Who is the fastest of the lot (including Taskin) so far?

Wahab is toothless on these tracks without reverse swing.
