But if you have a rubbish captain like Babar there is no point having even 10 Babars in the side.
You would be humiliated each and every time.
And to top it off his 7 off 27 balls set the tone against USA for the most defensive knock as an opener in the history of T20.
This man is leading our nation.
Its not the players.
Its the captain that is terrible.
And the results will keep showing it, no matter which 6 players you replace with the 6 you didn't want.
Truth is, Babar is a terrible captain and a mediocre player.
If Babar is a mediocre player than 99.99% of the batsmen who have ever played for Pakistan are beyond before.
You can’t be mediocre if you have the record Babar has across all formats. He is a top player, but he can be better and needs to work hard to become better.
Pakistan lost to USA because the “winner and mentality monster” Amir completely choked in the super over.
In spite of Babar’s slow innings, in spite of Rizwan, Usman, Fakhar and Azam’s failures, in spite of Shadab, Shaheen and Rauf’s poor bowling, Pakistan had destiny in their own hands and the key to the destiny was handed over to Amir.
You can’t lose a super over to USA, especially when you hand over the ball to a so-called big moments player who was specially brought back from retirement to help Pakistan in the World Cup.
Is this what he was brought back for?
I have a serious problem with Babar trusting a washed up, corrupt mental midget like Amir with the super over.
Shaheen or Naseem would not have conceded more than 10-12, and Pakistan would have probably won.
Pakistan knew they were cooked the moment USA scored 19. Many, many batsmen, including the modern aggressive batsmen in other teams whose feet Pakistani fans love to kiss, would feel the heat if they are chasing 20 in a super over.
Amir is 100% responsible for the USA defeat and it will be his legacy forever. This is what he came back for and he is going to regret his decision of coming back unless he can redeem himself which seems very unlikely considering how crap he is now.
