You Know Things are Bad When.....

- When your no 3 in T20s Fakhar Zaman has an average of 22.

- When your no 4, no 5 & no 6 batsmen are Ifti chacha, Asif Ali and Kushdil Shah.

- When Ifti chacha & Kushdil Shah are played as all rounders, when they aren't even good at their primary job, which is batting.

- When Hassan Ali & Shaheen Shah Afridi are at coming in at no 7 & no 8.

- When Hassan Ali keeps playing despite being absolutely useless for the past few months, because he is mates with the captain.

- When people overrate a mediocre bowler like Haris Rauf. The guy bowls with no plan.

- When a 28 year old Usman Qadir has very little control over his line & length.

- When you can't even test your bench strength and play players like Mohammad Haris and Shahnawaz Dhani against Australia C side in a meaningless T20.

- When we are missing Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz.

- When a 41 year old Hafeez and 40 year old Malik are still way better than Ifti chacha, Asif Ali & Kushdil Shah.

- When Rizwan hasn't done anything in the entire Australian series except for the match saving hundred in the Karachi test. Rizwan gets away with criticism.

Out of 25 games, he’s only played 2 games against minnows.

You comparing Imam to Sharjeel in ODI’s is like me comparing a Suzuki Swift to a McLaren 720s.

Imagine what the Mclaren would do if it played more than 90% of its games against minnows or a weak top 5 team.

Sharjeel hasnt done anything for Pakistan to justify himself as a Mclaren 720. If anything i would swing the comparison the other way around.
 
Pakistan are happy to have a Vauxhall Astra and Fiat Punto open for them with their Lamborghini Aventedor at no.3

It does seems like Babar wants way lesser batter than him in the Playing XI , players like Asif , Khushdil , Iftikhar has no place in the lineup if we have proving young domestic performers no where near the side.
 
When you are 206 all out against Netherlands.
 
Players like Qasim Akram , Huraira , Haseebullah , Kamran Ghulam and Sahibzada Farhan (T20 only) should be given a chance to submit their place in our weak middle order , we can also try young spinners like Abrar , Arham and Faisal in the ODI format as well.

Qasim Akram has potential to play all three formats Hurraira and Haseebullah in tests and maybe odis.

When khushdil Shah annihilates some innocuous bowlers and consolidate his position in the all important match against India

When snakes like Malik are out in full force to warm up their PR engines right before a big tournament.
 
When Pakistan have a simple solution to follow the international blueprint of aggressive batting but your coach says he doesn’t like to shuffle things

When Shan Masood is the next in line to replace Azhar Ali at three.

When Haris Rauf is selected in the Test team.
 
When your first choice spinner goes for 300 runs.

When you are picking T20I specialists for Tests.

When a 40 year old pacer outguns every one of your bowlers.
 
When Faheem Ashraf is opening the bowling in Test cricket.
 
Debutant tailender Abrar will smack Anderson & co & get the 60 odd runs, while the specialist “batsman” Salman will watch from the other end !!
 
When you are running out of words to write to criticise the Pakistan team.
 
When Faheem Ashraf is being picked and regarded as a Test all-rounder.

Current bunch (except for Abrar) seems benign.
