Possibly, but Root and Williamson in one XI is perhaps a bit too slow. You can only have 1 of the 2 IMO

Maybe. But I don't see another middle order batsman who's done enough to deserve a place in this XI.

Yeah, that's true, besides Root actually had a Strike Rate of 90+ this tournament which is very good, so Root and Williamson probably would work.

If it’s purely based on the WC performances, then Kohli doesn’t deserve to be there. He’s just because of his past performances

It's a very good XI actually. 9 out of 11 of these guys deserve to be there 100%.

All you gotta do is replace Kohli with Root.

Replacing Stokes for Neesham may be an option not but compulsory.

Other than that it's a great XI.

I don't understand your team selection. Is it personal preference? Performance wise - even captain wise, it doesn't make sense.

Personal choice plus David Warner was one of the best in this WC.. Rohit made 5 centuries...

Babar performed in crucial situations.. Shakib was in form of his life..

Ben Stokes today showed his metal in the final... Alex Carey in semi final proved everyone that he is a fighter..

Muhammad Nabi is an excellent all rounder with his spin and can also play good innings at no. 7..

Amir among the top wicket takers... Yuzvendre Chahal bowled brilliantly in this world cup.. Yes we can also play Santner in place of Yuzvendre but overall not a bad lineup

Starc among the best bowlers as well.. And Bumrah is no. 1 bowler in ICC rankings..!!

What is wrong with this team? It's not too bad in my opinion..

Disagree about Fizz. He was the best death bowler of the tournament. But he was not half as good as the others in the remaining overs. I would not pick Bumrah either tbh. He just didn't get enough wickets.
