Can't speak about all. But after reading about him here I went on to hear that pillow talk song on YouTube. After enduring that torture it's hard not to be triggered.

Generally. Have heard many a Muslim parent talk proudly about how their children were listening to Zayn Malik who is a Muslim. Obviously they haven't watched the Pillow Talk video (neither did I before today actually) and were probably conned by their children into thinking it was something wholesome as a Muslim name was attached to it.

Although on this thread also someone was quite quick to point out that Gigi was Muslim, which wasn't necessary at all but a lot of Muslims have this habit of taking pride of someone being Muslim instead of their actual accomplishments. . They said don't judge but people will do that if you associate a religious attribute to someone whose job is to roam around half naked on runways and appear in softcore music videos which is everything Islam isn't.

It actually grows on you

I heard it on a 16 hour road trip and it was just one of 10-12 songs my friend had so by the fourth time I actually started liking it. Lyrics are decent enough

This is actually a separate topic in it's own right, but in my opinion these are the best Muslims on the planet. We Muslims need to catch up to the rest of the world and learn to be part time Muslims with pride. Americans are proud Christians and produce the biggest vice industries in the world. Jews have their own holy land and most of them wouldn't know their torah from their Christmas tree. Buddhists wouldn't harm a fly but will raze whole villages when ethnic cleansing. Hinduism? Well it's all Hinduism as Mr Kooopar would say so...

Well I never implied that.

Just wanted to express that IMO Zayn isn't as good as he's made out to be. He's good enough at what he does but nothing exceptional.
