Inshallah. But Pakistani fans need to stop comparing him to Kohli in this format because Kohli is the ATG T20I batsman and Babar has a lot to prove
 
I wish we could see another team play against Zimbabwe on these pitches and see what the difference would be but it’s sad that will never happen because this is the only team that will play Zimbabwe

What a shot. I would give the crown to babar only for being so pleasing aesthetically. He makes the game beautiful
 
One of these two batsman should have gone all guns blazing after the 10th over. They are still playing as accumulators even in last 5 overs of the Match. Needed someone like Hafeez or Falhar right now.
 
Fakhar, Hafeez , Faheem and Hassan Ali all wasted as far as batting in this match. Only time will tell if Babars innings was good or bad for the team.

Honestly even Rizwan is a better T20 batsman than Babar so forget the rankings and don't even compare Babar with other explosive batsman like Bairstow, Roy , Warner , Kohli etc.

So quick across the ground and very athletic.

On the same surfaces that Babar has batted, Roy and Bairstow have absolutely clobbered some of the best bowling attacks in the world.

They don't play for their meaningless 50s, rather, they play for the team.

Once you realize that and look at how the match is going right now, you'll see what I'm saying.

Babar is going for his 50 instead of going all out.

I can tell you right now he'll get to his 50 and then proceed to try and whack everything.

It’s a better pitch than the last game but it still becomes harder once the ball becomes old as the slower ones are gripping.

So in conclusion not a good 20/20 wicket so 160 will be a very good score.
 
Babar still wasting over. How difficult is it to just get out trying for a six. N
At this stage Hafeez , Fakhar , Rana and Hassan can't so worse let them come.

Yes I noticed that too after the first game woes they’ve been extremely electric in the field have not dropped a single catch yet and zero mis fields amazing

Look at how many wickets we have in hand and look at our score.

Where we should have started accelerating, we were still playing dots and taking singles.

If we finish at 160/1, it will be a horrendous outing with the bat considering how many wickets we had in hand.
 
This is not a white ball wicket by any standard. In fact I would go on to say it's a doctored wicket made for cricketers who are mediocre at best.
No wonder zim struggle big time all around the world.
 
Even Rizwan is still missing balls once set.

Some of you guys just need to chill, Pak probably already have enough on this wicket.

Nobody is arguing they are better hitters of a cricket ball than Babar but, they would have probably struggled to hit the ball hard on this surface is the point.
 
Rizwan batting so well that some poster has to come up with fantasy scores to prove Sharjeel is better than him
 
For everyone criticizing Babar and Rizwan, these are not easy pitches to bat on. Nowadays winning an away series is very hard due to the way pitches are created for home sides. While i do agree that maybe England, India or Australia would have scored at a better rate here, we need to realize that they have world class middle order players that they can trust will handle the situation if they fail and thus the openers have the luxury to play freely. Look at the middle order we have? One of these gets out and Pakistan folds for less than 20 additional runs. That is a lot of pressure to perform on these two already. You add Kohli to this Pakistan team and watch how he becomes an average batsman as well.

Lol no, it’s a great score. I judge with what’s happening by watching, not looking at the scorecards on what could have happened.

This is beyond Zimbabwe, in fact most teams would struggle to chase over 150 on this pitch and ground.

Not sure about roy but bairstow is currently playing in similar types of wickets in chennai and he is playing well.
 
Painful to watch Babar's innings... can't even get out trying to hit big...shame we couldn't even yet our middle order with the platform set for once...
 
Babar losing his shape trying to him em big. He should just continue to look to time the ball like yousuf used to do in slog overs. Or Rohit does now

He can't even hit Jongwe out of the park, and you have the audacity to compare him with a modern-day T20 great.

Hell even Manish Pandey could have done some damage here.
 
Well today we got to see both Sharjeel and Rizwan bat at the same time on the same pitch against the same opposition. I think it's clear who is better quality

Plus a slow wicket tend to get slower as the day goes on which is why batting first was crucial
 
We’ll probably win but this is an awful 50. This is why stats aren’t everything kids
