SA have named a strong line-up.

Kudos to them for respecting the opposition.
 
Zimbabwe are the only team Steyn ain't got a 5 wicket haul against. He's definitely up for it as you can tell from his body language. What a player!
 
This one is much more interesting than Galle.
 
This match is rare - 2 African countries battling it out in a test match in the sub-Saharan. Cricket as a whole needs to cherish these moments.

My team is simply too good. Interesting to see our new spinner.

By this time, both Pakistani openers would be back in the pavillion and YK and Azhar would be playing.
 
Ah.. The African derby.
Two evenly matched teams battling it out for who is the best in the continent.
These are the best sides in Africa, both have thrashed Pakistan in the past.
That clearly shows the competitiveness of the contest.
 
Good on the Saffera for sending their full strength team to massacre the Zimbos, I hope we do the same later this year.
 
Zimbabwe are doing well but although obviously a likely loss, don't think SA will win it as convincingly as they should.
 
I really want Steyn to get a 5 wicket haul and complete his collection of getting that figure against very test playing nation which is extremely rare and will prove his ATG status as a bowler. In fact, I'm finding this more interesting than the match itself.
 
Just looked at Zimbabwe's debut test. Misbah Manjrekar with a 104 off 422 balls as India were bowled out for 307 after 170 overs.
 
Read that Dane Piedt has the off spin, doosra and carrom ball. Is this true [MENTION=97523]Buffet[/MENTION]?
 
Yep its true DP can bowl the doosra, hopefully the ICC don't destroy his career like Botha's
 
If that new guy is a special spinner or something then God help the other teams. SA unarguably will have the greatest bowling attack ever if that was the case.

How often do you see a spinner from one of the "white" nations averaging 25 domestically

Ironically! This match is far more interesting than the current Sri-Pak one.
 
Admirable effort from Zimbos. I expected them to get all out <100 against Steyn and Philander faya.

I guess they have better batsmen then :hafeez
 
Ball-tamperer Philander is wicket-less against Zimbabwe. There is some justice in the world.
 
Looks like Steyngun picked up 3 undeserved wickets. Gotta feel for Zimbos
 
What a fight by our fierce rivals.
Showed a lot hunger and determination.
Good to see DP on debut as well.
 
Good effort by the Zimbos.

Some other nations should take note at their positive attitude and fight.
