You should always play at least three pacers in any conditions. The pacers often bowl the first 10.
Then when spinners are not taking wicket in the midle you need quickies.

Hafeez is not a wicket taker at all, don't know how many matches he has not taken a single wicket.
Ajmal takes about 80% of his wickets at the end of the innings.
Afridi, the only one who used to take crucial midle overs wicket is not taking midle order wickets as regualarly as he used to do.

Poor selection as always by captain Misbah.

The only options to be dropped were Sarfraz & Afridi. Can't drop Sarfraz because he's wicket keeping and Afridi has too much power, when he's in the squad, it's difficult to drop him.
