Misbah breeds negativity in the team and destroys the natural essence of youngsters... Ahmed Shehzad, Nasir Jamshed, and Umar Akmal are extremely attacking players by nature but when they have such a negative captain, they have no option to play against their natural instincts and hence, they struggle

Just watch, once Misbah goes these two will be back to scoring at an extremely high strike rate

it'll be painful to see both Misbah and Shahzad batting..lol

Nah, according to popular belief Misbah tells other people to bat slow but once he's on the crease, the batsmen at the other end feel the pressure to score fast and thus end up getting out.
So once Hafeez gets out, Shehzad will be put under pressure by Misbah to not score freely but he will try to hit out because that's just the way Misbah's mind trick works. :iqasim

So in short, Shehzad will start to pick up the pace then.

Hafeez doesn't want to leave the field:))) why let go another opportunity to score another hundred:P

Shehzad's SR has always been the same, even under Captain Aggressive Messiah :afridi 's captaincy.
Umar Akmal has been going about at the 80 odd S/R since his return, don't know where the negativity came in.

:))) anyway that won't happen as yet as Hafeez is still there..

Hey look at that the extra bowler will come in handy.. and someone said that there was no need for 6 bowling options.

Should have sent in Amin as he was in form.

So much bias.
If Hafeez doesn't want to leave the field, it's selfish, of it's any other batsman, it's heroic.
I would have liked to see Amin at 4.

Umar Amin should be tossed the ball today if Hafeez can't bowl. I'm sure Amin is as quick as these Zimbabwean bowlers.

Hence, he is not in the team :asadrauf

Yeah, am pretty sure his seizures had nothing to do with it. And then (God Forbid) if something had happened to him on tour if he had been picked, we'd be labelling Misbah as Hitler :))

If things go by Pakistani standards we should be around 170 in 40 overs then lose all our wickets for 50 runs.

Misbah in alongside Shahzad! Get ready for the most painfully boring Tuk-Tuking of your life.

I won't be surprised if he puts me to sleep

Misbah should bash himself to a hundred. Then his critics will say he can only score a hundred vs minnows lol. what an achievement to be top ODI batsman without a hundred.

7 dot balls by him so far for 0. He will then hit a 6 and everyone will forget about all pressure he's created and how much runs he's missed out on

Yes , I agree . But when he is selected he should be given time to bat.

I used to think Sarfaraz would be a decent Test Bat, but the lad is so nervous when batting. Sarfaraz has been selected, but Keepers are expected to bat at any position nowadays.

10 balls, and not off the mark. Beastly innings again :misbah

Shehzad said "Yaar Misbah Bhai"
Misbah replies "Nahi hona tha meray say" :)))
