Both teams were chasing totals in excess of 200 tonight, in fact SA's target was 238 while Paksitan's target was 210.
At one stage South Africa had lost 2 wickets for only one run and Pakistan had lost 2 wikets for 5 runs.
In the end SA were only 16 runs short whereas Pakistan lost by almost 70 runs.
Top order batsmen can go early at times, so then it's up to the middle order batsmen to do the job.
Just look at Millers approach today, he just smashed the bowlers with a SR of 225 and then we have the middle order batsmen in Pakistan who were striking at around 100.
We can argue about how slow our openers are, but when they fail the middle-order and lower order have to take the responsibility and fight it out. There was no intent shown today. One of the worst chases I have seen in cricket.
